Rumor Control

While reading comments on other sites I found a rumor that the Obamacare bill included the jitza. The blackmail payment imposed on rational people for properly refusing to convert to Islam. I don't know if this rumor is true but I wouldn't be surprised that the Big Zero would try to put it past us.

I will treat this as a rumor until further notice.

Monday Morning Thought

When I was a lad before entering high school I read Heinlein’s Starship Troopers a decade before reading Atlas Shrugged.  And I read the novel for the ideas.

One of the ideas I formed at the time was that the personal weapon was both the instrument and the symbol of political authority.  As the sword denoted the authority of the monarch the rifle denoted the authority of the citizen.  The disarmament of the citizen would effectively strip him of political authority.  Thus the attempt to disarm the citizens was effectively a tripwire to warn us of the attempt to establish a tyranny. 

Of course the citizen must understand and accept his political responsibilities.  The instrument is useless without the idea to guide it.

The battle for the Westgate Mall in Nairobi is over. And the clean up has begun. Some of the cleaning up will be pyschological.

I am depressed this morning. The parking lot of my apartment building is scheduled to be repaved over the next week. And the Christian Peacemaker Teams hasn't said anything about the Nairobi Massacre on their web site.

This is no surprise as CPT is actually a gang of useless poseurs who pretend to strike a moral stand. As opposed to the people who actually uphold and defend the moral value of life, such as the Nairobi Police* and the Kenyan Defence Force.

On Sunday morning, after reading up on the Nairobi Massacre and posting comments about it on my blog I decided to go for a walk. There is a Subway sandwich shop about six blocks from where I live and I decided to go out to eat. On Central Avenue in Northeast Minneapolis there is a Muslim travel agent who serves a Muslim clientele. There were posters in the store window advertising trips to Mecca. I usually ignore it when I walk by.

This morning I actually thought about breaking that window.

But I did not. I will never descend to the level of Islam.

The body count thus far for the Nairobi Shopping Mall attack [LINK HERE] is roughly two percent of the death toll of the WTC attack on 9/11. Yet it should not have happened at all.

The fact of the matter is that We the Human Race are in a world war. A war started by the false prophet Mohammed and carried on by those who continue to follow his doctrine. And it will not end until those who follow and enforce the doctrine of Islam are extinct.

A case in point. Two homosexuals entering into a so-called marriage* sought to have a photograph taken of the ceremony were refused by a professional photographer on religious grounds. Instead of solving the issue through the capitalist method of finding another photographer, they dealt with the photographer by the communist method of punishing him through the power of the state.

In exchange for the continued support of homosexuals at the ballot box** the leftist state is able to continue their use and abuse of straight citizens.

Why do we continue to tolerate this abuse?

* Marriage is a social practice that serves a biological function. The survival of the participants and their children. Homosexual mating is simply an unhealthy form of assisted masturbation. It is in reality the practice of dysfunctional sexual stimulation.

** With real ballots. I don't know why the left bothers to care anymore. With their well documented habit of cheating they shouldn't have to suck up to the gays anymore.

Euphemism Of The Day

As part of the fallout from the Navy Yard shooting the statists have come out with a new euphemism for disarming the citizens.

“Gun Reform.”

Isn’t that a nice euphemism?

When the old school Nazis sent people to the death camps they didn’t call it extermination, they called it “deportation to the east.” Even in their own internal documents they covered their own tracks. And of course they had to in order to maintain the illusion that they were the good guys.

Apart from a handful of psychopaths the ones who carried out the Holocaust were under the illusion that what they were doing was for the good of the nation. And every effort was made to construct and maintain that illusion.

But, as some would proclaim, the advocates of citizen disarmament are a not mob of murderous psychopaths.

No. Of course not.

We The People of the United States of America are armed because we are the sovereign authority of the nation. The government is subordinate to us.

In order to assume absolute control of the nation the statists must disarm us. In order to disarm us they require our cooperation. In order to gain our cooperation they must deceive us.

Why?

Because they do not wish to live an think and work to support themselves. As with a mere animal they see the goods they need as natural objects and not the product of deliberate human action. And as with mere animals they want to take things without the consent of producers.

Because they are dependent on their victims for producing the instruments of force they must deceive the victims to obtain the tools for their own use. And for the victims to surrender the instruments for their own defense.

Only then can they live in the manner of their own choosing.

Why is that? I could speculate but without further information I would automatically come to a wrong conclusion.

What I have noticed is that CPT continues to support Muslim occupation of parts of the nation of Israel. And they refuse to recognize that Islam was and continues to be an ideology of conquest and subjugation. And thus that no Muslim has any right to the land that they seized by force and continue to occupy.

When I stopped being a Christian I had the basic decency to openly say so.

Wealth is the means of living and obtaining moral values in general but can also be used to destroy life. On this day twelve years ago four airliners, which were constructed to serve a human purpose and thus obtain real moral values, were hijacked and converted into weapons of murder.

WHY?

They sought to destroy real lives, including their own, in order to obtain what I will politely describe as a permanent state of spiritual existence.* The doctrine of Islam promised entry into Paradise in exchange for the degrading and outright destruction of real Human Life.

The fundamental purpose of the doctrine and practice of Islam was to enrich the false prophet Mohammed. Islam was the spiritual means through which Mohammed would benefit from the physical acts of robbery and murder. To obtain real wealth from those who actually created it without the valid exchange of values that is necessary in a real society.**

The false promises of Islam continue to provoke violence against the real people who live real lives. Because of this those who believe in and practice Islam must be isolated from human society.

As long as there is someone who believes that another person exists to be used and that force is the means to use that person then there will be crimes. As long as there are discernible groups who whose doctrine is that other people exist to be used and that force is the means to use them there will be wars. The only way that crimes and wars have ever been stopped is by responding by force against the perpetrator.

The fact of the matter is that the regime of the Assad family has committed no discernible offense against the United States of America. What has happened is that the vain and empty soul that presently occupies the office of the President has issued commands as if he were an emperor and those imperial commands have been ignored. To restore the prestige of Der Erstazkaiser American military personnel will be sent into harm's way. And as the norm in these efforts some of them will not return.

American lives WILL be sacrificed for imperial vanity.

The usual liberal voices that are raised against war have fallen silent. This should not be a surprise as every single one of them is also a firm believer in the use-others theory. The idea of the inalienable right of life is completely alien to them.

"WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?"

To the elites that now rule over us see a person is simply an object to be used and ultimately discarded when no longer needed. The concept that a person has a right to right that must be protected by any means possible contradicts their belief system. The four Americans who were murdered in Benghazi where simply tools to be used toward their ends. The American servicemen who will not return from a strike on Syria are also tools to be used toward their ends.

The cost in lives is simply irrelevant to them.

The elites need us. But do we need them?

NO.

We have never needed them. And one way or another the elites will go. Even if that means painting our streets with their blood.

Saturday Morning Thought

Those of us who live in the real world saw Barack Obama in 2008 as being fundamentally unfit to serve as the President of the United States. But he was elected by corrupt people who expected and ultimately received payoffs. Or he received the literal blessings of those who saw him as a magical man who would perform miracles at will.

But reality is real. He was never an actual magical man and no one can actually perform miracles. Merely an empty man.

There was no question in 2012 and absolutely no question now that Barack Obama is unfit to hold office. Not only that, but he does not understand the actual function of the office of the President. He clearly does not under that the president is a servant of the people, not the master of us. He does not understand that the armed forces and the people in general are not his to use and abuse as he sees fit. And he is ignoring the adverse effects that his reign is having on us.

(Oh, by the way, his "L'etat c'est moi" attitude is really getting on my nerves.)

But now The Big Zero is determined to enter into a completely pointless adventure that will have no positive effect for our nation and will result in the needless deaths of our service members. This mistake may also result in the triggering of a Third World War.

The thought of dying to fight the Soviet Union was frightening. I cannot begin to explain how appalled I am at the thought of being sacrificed to please the worthless soul of The Big Zero.

A Bit Of Work

The beginning of the seventh chapter of the current novel:

Did I say that I hate having to supervise from a distance?

We held mock space battles and boarding exercises with the Guardian as the target ship. In each exercise companies of the Ranger battalion would take turns as boarders and defenders.

My Fourth Incarnation was a bit annoyed at my constant presence on the command deck aboard the Eagle.

“Don’t you have a desk on the ground?” He once asked me with a clearly annoyed voice as we observed a boarding exercise.

“Yes.” I replied to him politely.

“You also have a wife.”

I turned to look at him silently. He spoke again.

“Seriously, I remember what happened to our marriage in the first incarnation.”

“Our marriage?”

Number Four took a very annoyed and lecturer tone of voice in his reply.

“Evelyn Boatman Number One and our one and only Susan.”

“Oh yes, I remember.”

“She went back to Earth and it was our fault.”

And she remained on Earth until the end.

I spoke again.

“Our fault?”

Number Four looked forward and lowered his voice.

“Fine, I understand, the language isn’t set up for multiple incarnations of a person to have a conversation, particularly concerning a private matter. The point is that I remember being overworked while building the escape fleet, I remember the divorce, and I remember the subsequent results. And so should you, and I don’t want to see the whole thing happen again.”

“You aren’t married to Cheryl.”

He turned to speak at me again.

“And the way you are pushing yourself right now neither will you. Seriously Number Three, you need to take a break, put on some music group files and dance with her. She’ll love it.”

I silently stared at him.

“Oh come off it!” He said. “Don’t give me the silent stare treatment!”

I broke off the stare and looked about the command deck. Everyone on deck was putting on the appearance of being hardwired and fully dedicated to their work stations.

Number Four spoke again.

“Look, you can call it a rehearsal for the arrival celebration, the point is that you need a break.”

“What about you?”

“I’m not supervising this entire operation, you are.”

“You also want me off of your ship?”

“Yes.” He replied. “Just trust me, we’ll get it right.”

I had no idea how to respond to the argument. So I took a break. I clearly needed it. And Cheryl and I conceived our first daughter.

Sunday On Syria

It appears that The Big Zero is about to intervene in the fictional nation of Syria.  A country created by European diplomats out of the wreckage of the Ottoman Empire after the First World War.

So what happened?

In the ongoing civil war the remnant of the so-called government used a nerve agent to massacre a bit over three thousand Muslim civilians and an unknown number of insurgents. This is roughly the equivalent of an SS unit hitting a bump in the road and losing a truckload of thugs on the Night Of The Long Knives.

So what?

Both sides are Muslims, which is to say that they are enemies of Mankind and deserving of NO SYMPATHY at all.  Let the murderers kill each other off and let us be done with them.  Forever.

But The Big Zero is apparently chomping at the bit to intervene. Presumably on the side of the insurgents, who in this case are the local version of the SS.

Intervening in the fight between the SA and the SS would not have made sense with Nazi Germany.  Why should anyone perform an equivalent action now?

 The only reasonable ground I could see for entering Syria would be to rescue the innocent third parties.  Specifically the remnant of Christians in that land.  Furthermore the operation should be performed with only unrestricted rules of engagement towards the warring factions.  Those who gang rape and murder children deserve to be exterminated.

But The Big Zero would not think of doing that.

Finished the fifth chapter of the novel.

Fact Of The Day

There is no longer a federal government of The United States.

Those who are holding office, especially at the executive level, are not in compliance with the Constitution. Nor are they exercising reason in the course of their action. They are not doing their defined duties.

Furthermore they have entered an adversarial relationship with the citizens of the nation. They have become our enemy.

We have no alternative but to identify and treat them as such.

A Work In Progress

I've already written the epilogue of my current novel project:

Time passes and life continues.

Zoe grew up as a fully human young woman and pursued the man of her dreams. In this case my fourth incarnation, for this I don’t blame her at all, but then I am clearly biased.

The wedding ceremony and celebration was held in Landfall on Zion. A live band played for the event.

Zoe made the first request.

“Could you please play ‘Have You Ever Had It Blue?’”

“My pleasure ma’am.” The lead singer replied.

The fellow actually resembled Paul Weller of The Style Council, even down to the British teeth.

As the happy couple began to dance Cheryl turned to me and asked a question.

“Why don’t we dance that way?”

“Let’s try it.” I replied.

I stood up and took her hand.

Human Life is both a joyous and a learning experience.

Let's translate this into plain English:

Ask that God support the descendants of the those who conquered Hebron and drove out or murdered the original inhabitants and who are now denied the privilege of desecrating a holy site they stole from the original inhabitants.

That of course is too honest.

There is absolutely no question that Islam is a false doctrine. There is absolutely no question that Islam is toxic to Human life. And there is absolutely no excuse for ANYONE to provide aid and comfort to the adherents and practitioners of Islam.

While as an atheist I have no concern with this group acting in actual opposition to Christ, as a Human I am outraged that they are openly supporting the Enemies of Mankind.

I originally wrote this segment for a novel in progress. I eventually used part of it as dialogue in the second chapter:

So why are we here?

Why did we escape the Solar System and settle on the planets of Alpha Centauri?

The fact is that we live in a dynamic universe. A universe whose internal material components are subject to change by entirely natural means. Life, including human life, is the result of a series of an entirely natural processes. The process of life is also a localized acceleration of the process of entropy, the conversion of matter to energy. Simply by living each of us is accelerating the ultimate decline of the known universe. Please don’t tell the environmentalists.

For simple forms of life survival is simply an accident of nature. For Humanity survival is the result of the function of the active mind. And we will think and do what is necessary to live what is properly a human life.

Believe it or not there were people back on Earth who objected to our escape from extinction and actively worked to prevent it.

I am not kidding.

Some of those people believed that our lives were the result of the will of a being commonly known as God. And that the event that would ultimately destroy all life on Earth was also the will of God. They believed that the extinction event was brought about because of our collective sins. The primary sin being the constant refusal to obey the commands of God as transmitted through his self appointed spokesmen. The vilest of our sins being the persistent habit of actually thinking on the basis of the actual facts of reality. The believers in the God Premise deemed us guilty of these crimes and wanted us to sit down without resistance and die for our sins.

Absolutely not, we decided.

The idea that God could eliminate Mankind at a thought and did not require an actually natural event to kill off our species simply did not enter their minds.

This assumes of course that those who believe in the concept of God had actually functioning minds.

There were also those who believed in the concept of material equality. That everyone had to be materially equal regardless of the actual amount of productive thought and labor. They believed it was unfair for us who could build starships to escape the Solar System. We who could should not do so because it was unfair to those who could not. That the truly fair course of action was to do nothing and for all of us to die together.

This view, which was purely emotional, was clearly wrong.

And finally there were the self-appointed elites. They believed that only they had the best of the collective interests of Mankind in mind. And that only the best and the brightest members of the Human collective, as defined by themselves, should be allowed to escape extinction by the means available.

That the elites have always lived off the thought and labor of those they deemed inferior and invariably made decisions for their own benefit was never, ever, mentioned by them or their willing servants.

The fact was that we would not sacrifice ourselves for the benefit of what was in fact a band of lazy and mindless losers.

The fundamental moral value is life. But human life is not simply physical existence. The human mode of life also requires an active mental existence.

In order to live as human beings we must see things as they are and act as we conceive as necessary.

Live with it.

A Footnote To The Ominous Parallels

One of the rules that Napoleon Bonaparte followed during his reign as a successful general was to avoid interrupting his opponents when they were in error.

As usual, the opponents of reason are in error.

As quoted on POLITICO.COM Hillary Clinton said:

My prayers are with the Martin family and with every family who loves someone who is lost to violence... No mother, no father, should ever have to fear for their child walking down a street in the United States of America.

This statement is not only false. It is the complete opposite of the truth. In fact Trayvon Martin was a physically mature individual who chose to carry out a deadly force assault against a citizen of the United States. For this act he paid the natural and proper penalty. With his life.

As with Horst Wessel of the NSDAP in Germany the African racial collectivists here in the United States have declared Trayvon Martin to be a martyr. And their political collectivist overseers are backing them with the full posture of righteousness. But the posture of righteousness is not identical with simply being right.

The collectivists in general are not only placing themselves in opposition to reality they have placed themselves in opposition to us who live by reason in reality.

I would expect them to pay the natural and proper penalty.

I just posted the following statement on the Harry Binswanger Mailing List:

In the state of Florida, a jury refused a demand for a human sacrifice.

The Left stands by and cheers as every new manifestation of barbarism rises and slaughters good people and innocent children. The chattering classes willingly support and serve the enemies of mankind and viciously slander and condemn those who dare to raise a hand in defense of the defenseless. They sit in their coffee houses cooking up conspiracy theories about how Conservatives are planning to exterminate their own particular fringe group.

But if the conspiracy theories of the Left were true they would all be dead. If Conservatives dealt with the adherents of Liberalism the way the Left has dealt with humans in general whenever the Left has obtained power, there wouldn't be any Liberals left standing. Of the universities and the urban centers of Liberalism there would be nothing left but smoking ruins, and there would be mass graves from coast to coast.

We need to face the fact that the present day Left, like the barbarians who plagued civilization before them, are essentially parasites. Control of the productive population is essential for their survival and well being. Compulsion is inherently necessary to the parasite manner of existence. Those who resisted had to be killed as an object lesson for others.

The Left Marxist barbarians, not only need material support they also need spiritual support as well. They need to feel that their victims are not only submitting to them today but will do so tomorrow as well.

Barbarian chieftains and tribal witch-doctors demanded degrading and often dangerous acts of worship from their subjects, up to and including human sacrifice, in order to assure themselves that they would still have a roof over their heads and food to eat the next day. Those refused to obey were assaulted or killed.

In the meeting places of the Left the demand is for unquestioned agreement without regard to the actual facts of reality. The Leftists are the first to demand censorship lest they be identified as frauds and subsequently bounced out of their comfortable fantasy worlds, no longer insulated from a real world that demands real thought and real labor.

The Left, being dependent upon others for their sustenance, must stand in opposition to the society of rational consent and openly support systems of compulsion, because to do otherwise is to condemn themselves to death.

Solstice Weekend

I had a good weekend -- apart from a bit of writers block, a cooking accident (Two stitches on my left thumb and a tetanus shot), a tornado hitting the city of Minneapolis(And hitting the municipal water intake plant, water service was out for a few hours, one of my brothers who lives four blocks away had his power go out as well).

I also entered a urination contest with a few Christians on a comment thread on Pamela Geller's blog.

In my opinion I appear to be holding my own on this.

Clearly the old pagan practice of dancing around a upturned rock while naked would not have helped.

Friday Night.

We had serious problems with Dihydrogen Monoxide last night.

We had two thunderstorms rip through the Twin Cities area last night. The first one had high winds and a heavy downpour. Central Avenue and Monroe Street in NE Minneapolis were blocked by flooding under the railroad overpasses. The second thunderstorm included a tornado that crossed North Minneapolis and hit the city water intake plant. Water service was out for several hours.

Oh, and I cut my left thumb while slicing potatoes and had to go to the ER at HCMC for two stitches and a tetanus shot. Because Central Avenue had been blocked I had to walk over to Jefferson Street and cross under the railroad bridge at 19th Avenue, which was not flooded, in order to return home.

Time for a pizza.

By treating their doctrine as false. And by systematically destroying their ideological infrastructure of indoctrination and enforcement. Destroy their texts and temples. And eliminate their enforcers and and indoctrinators.

What Difference Does It Make?

In her testimony on the Benghazi Incident, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton showed her contempt for the four men who were murdered by terrorists by saying: “What difference does it make?”

From the collectivist view a person is simply a thing to be used. A tool. The fact that a person has a complete life outside of the alleged goals of the collective is completely blanked out. To the collectivist the full human life is completely meaningless.

And because a person is seen as simply a tool it does not matter if it breaks as a result of being misused. The tool can simply be disposed of and replaced, as were the men in Benghazi.

Secretary Clinton’s open contempt for the people serving under her is perfectly normal for a collectivist. In The Mask Of Command, John Keegan recounts an incident where Adolf Hitler was having dinner served to him in the dining car of his private train when it stopped at a station. When another train, loaded with wounded soldiers returning from the Eastern Front, stops beside Hitler's private train. Hitler had the stewards in the dining car pull down the shades so he wouldn't have to see the other train and the wounded passengers.

A Spot Of Tea

I attended a Tea Party rally in downtown Minneapolis at noon today at the IRS Headquarters at 250 Marquette Avenue South. There about a hundred people in attendance and there was a bit of drizzle. Several people, especially those driving commercial vehicles honked and the drove by. Not everyone was happy to see the Tea Party. Some people were visibly hostile. One woman who walked by the rally had a look on her face that was like one would expect from a member of a royal family that had just stepped in a freshly laid pile of dung. She may have worked for the IRS.

Seriously, if the Democrats want to survive as a political party they must drop the partisan nonsense and take the lead on cleaning up the abuses of the Obama administration. If not, they will go down with him.

On another topic, the Objectivist position on abortion is based on the concept that a person has right to be in full control of their own life. The result of a live birth is a person with the full rights thereof. Killing that person, even by throwing him or her out in the trash with the other biohazard material, is murder. In my opinion Doctor Gosnell clearly deserves the death penalty.

A Reminder

Humanity is not merely a physical condition, it is a state of mind. To be human is to be essentially rational and productive. The human mentality (or soul) looks upon the world, the land, the animals and plants, the natural forces, as things to be mastered for the benefit of himself and his posterity. On the other hand, the predator, or savage mentality does not seek to to master the world, but to be the master of men. The savage prefers not to sustain himself by his own effort, but to seize and consume the lives and property of others for material and spiritual sustenance. To the predator, justice consists of "getting away with it" -- those who rightfully resist the predator are to be punished or destroyed.

Anniversary

Today is the anniversary of what is commonly called The Kent State Massacre. Or the day a mob of nihilist punks came into contact with reality.

Here's a number of things I've said on the subject of peace activism:

If there is one thing I have certainly noticed, it is that pacifists in general have no objection to enjoying the benefits of civilization but are unwilling to take the measures necessary to defend it from foreign and domestic barbarians. Such as the National Socialists, the Soviet Socialists, and the home grown socialists of the Democratic Party. Contrary to their general delusion of virtue, pacifists are in effect, moral and political parasites upon civilized society.

Peace in the real world is simply the absence of those -- such as the socialists -- who seek to deprive you, I, and our fellow citizens of our own Life, Liberty, and Property. Real peace can only be achieved by the physical isolation or outright elimination of those who seek to subjugate, plunder and murder us. This can only be done through the use of physical force. In short, true peace can only be achieved only through the possession of superior firepower and the moral will to use it.

The narcissistic trash that makes up the membership of the so-called peace movement simply do not care whether you and your children live, or die, or suffer under the yoke of an unwashed barbarian. They plaster their cars with bumper sticker, carry signs, bang on drums, throw Frisbees, and perform other useless rituals so that they can feel good about themselves and show the world how morally superior they are. Never mind that they openly deny the fundamental fact which is the foundation of all valid moral law, that Human Life -- life as a rational being in control of one's own life -- is the standard of all moral values, and that those who would damage or destroy Human Life must be removed from human society and if necessary be destroyed. The adherents of pacifism have so inverted their own mental processes that they look upon the perpetrators of mass slavery and mass murder as good and those who take up arms to defend the society of consent as the most depraved evil.

Now there are some folks, who regard themselves as morally superior beings, who question why the other bastard has to die. The answer of course is that the other bastard is attempting to impose his will, or the will of his leader, upon you by force. It is the act of coercion by force that makes what General Patton called the other bastard an enemy. Peace is simply the absence of enemies. But there are some folks, who pretend to be morally superior beings, who would have us believe that "peace" could be achieved by submission to the will of the other bastard. In reality this is not peace, it is slavery. There are some well meaning people, some of whom that I respect, who believe that there are times that one cannot have both peace and freedom at the same time. I have to disagree. Liberty is simply the condition of existence in which the person is free to live his own life in accordance with his own rational judgment. This does of course require the absence of some other bastard who is attempting to impose his will upon the person by force. In practical terms real peace and real freedom are inseparable. I will go further is saying that to a civilized person, peace, freedom, and security, are simply three words that can be used to describe the identical condition, the absence of another bastard imposing his will upon the civilized person. Contrary to what those who describe themselves as peace activists would have us believe, and as General Patton has ably demonstrated, the path to real peace invariably takes us over the real dead bodies of those other bastards who insist on violently imposing their will upon us. Unfortunately this process is by no means a safe one. Let us take this day to remember those who died on the path to real peace.

A rational study of the real world would show that a real state of Peace is effectively indistinguishable from a state of Liberty and a state of Security. Peace, Liberty, and Security are simply three words that a rational person uses to describe the same condition, the rightful ability to live one's own life without coercive interference by others. A rational study of actual history would show that the state of peace for the citizens of a free nation is the result of the violent elimination of the would be conquerors and their pet quislings. If we rationally examine those who constitute the membership of the so-called Peace Movement we find that virtually every one of them is an open advocate of the coercive subjugation of the productive members of the Human Race. The occasional exception being a self-blinded fool who isn't paying attention to what they're ideologically in bed with. In short, a "peace activist" and the "peace movement" are in fact enemies of Peace.

Peace is only an affirmative value to those who live in the condition of liberty, that is being rightfully in charge of one's self and able to set the goals for one's own life. Peace cannot be a value to the subjects of a totalitarian socialist state. To the victim of such a state -- the ordinary worker who is bullied by a commissar, the inmate of a slave labor camp, or the occupant of a darkened cell awaiting murder at the hands of the local chekists -- war, either an internal uprising against the socialist masters, or an invasion by an army of liberation, is in fact the positive value.

I stand by what I said.

“Local NBC Reporter Hilariously Denies Soviet Flags Present At May Day Rally: ‘What Do They Represent?’”

I’m not surprised to read this. In my view the basic function of liberal (and specifically Marxist) doctrine is to deny reality.

The specific fact of reality that absolutely must be denied under all circumstances is that each of us as human beings has right to say no.

No to the demand for obedience. No to the demand for material support. And no to the demand for absolute power over our lives.

Liberals, and the left in general, are parasites on human society. Without the power to compel others to materially support them the members of the left would be compelled either to become rational and productive people or to literally die off.

And it is not enough for the Left, especially their leaders, to be materially supported. They must also feel secure in their status as the masters of the productive. They must stage spectacular rituals of mass obedience to create and reinforce their feelings of security.

The parades on May Day and anniversary of the local ruling party's ascent to power. The hours-long speeches that must be listened to with total attention and applauded with the greatest of enthusiasm. And don't be the first to stop applauding when the leader speaks, that's disloyal!

To the left, every word of dissent or refusal is in practical effect a sentence of death for each of them. It is no surprise that they are hostile to actual thought based on actual facts.
