Disagreement

Some Conservatives don't get it.

The idea that we on the Right march in lock step is so ridiculous that only a Leftist could believe it.

I strongly disagree with other Conservatives.  Some of them object to Chinese Communist extermination of the Muslim Urgurs.  But Islam is actually a doctrine of murder and oppression.  Islam is an ideology that doesn't allow the right to a Human existence.  The wielding of deadly force against an ethnic minority is cause for alarm, the death of opponents isn’t.  We on the Right side of the political isle must understand the victim of my enemy can also be my enemy too.  One exercises rational judgement on a person’s beliefs, not a non-volitional factor.  From my perspective it looks like a bunch of murderers killing murderers, so what?  Would we on the Right side of the political isle object to the imprisonment or murder of a group of Marxists by the CCP?

On Conservatism

American Conservatives are clearly different from European Conservatives.  Good people will die and decent people will suffer as a result of the lies that are being told about American Conservatives.

Thoughts For The Day

The disarmament of The People only benefits the criminals.  It benefits those within The State by intent.  And it benefits those outside of apparatus of The State by accident.  The claim that members of the public will be protected by their own disarmament is an absolute lie.  And disarming the citizens of the nation is clearly an act of treason.

I'm known as a supporter of the Republican Party, but I also criticize it.

There's nothing quite as intolerant and closed mined as a “tolerant and open minded liberal.”

Revolutions happen because the rulers do something stupid.

Some people don't understand Conservatism.

Thoughts For The Day

A century ago most present day Conservatives would be considered Liberals.

If it weren't for Karl Marx and his followers I would be be identified as a radical.

Opinions

Two definitions from the New Devil's Dictionary:

Gun Control: The theory that the solution to the problem of firearms usage by violent criminals is to attack, imprison, and kill innocent people who own firearms.

Gun Owner: Someone often identified as a "Fascist" by caring, compassionate, and progressive people. Example: "Leslie Bates is a gun owner! Kill him!"

The advocacy of a political end cannot be separated from the advocacy the means it is brought about.  The case in this point is that the disarming of The People requires the use of deadly force. Some advocates of "Gun Control" do not have a problem with this.  In their view reality is subject to a vote and therefore a vote to legalize the murder of citizens who own guns is morally correct.  But Reality is Real.  Reality is not subject to a vote.  And Murder is Murder.  No vote by any political body can change that.  The advocacy of "Gun Control" is the advocacy of Murder.  A state that legalizes Murder in this respect ceases to be a government and devolves to a gang of criminals.  And as such it must be put down by deadly force, and those who pushed and voted for the Murder of gun owners  must themselves be put to death.

There's no such thing as a God given right.  A right is a concept, and all concepts must be based on the facts of reality.

But is gun control effective?

No.

The effectiveness of totalitarian gun control as described by the commander of the 106th Guards Airborne Division of the Soviet Army. One of the units sent to suppress an anti-Armenian pogrom in Azerbaijan. As told to Carey Schofield, author of "The Russian Elite: Inside SPETSNAZ And The Airborne Forces."

"We landed by night, and some of our aircraft came under attack as we did so. One carrying personnel from Tula landed with twenty-two holes in the fuselage. The people thronging around the airfield were armed with sub-machine guns, knives and clubs. I went over to the crowd and said, 'Look! The Army is not a cat to be swung around in the air. Clear the road!' The KPP (Control and Command Post) of the airfield was blocked with KRAZ and KAMAZ trucks loaded with boulders. People started shouting that we wouldn't get through. While I was talking to the crowds my sappers were cutting the wire fence about 200 meters to the left and right of the KPP. I gave the crowds five minutes to think things over. They began jeering and laughing. Within five minutes two companies from my Ryazan regiment had crossed through the holes in the wire. The whole crowd was ordered to lie face down. We kept them there all night, to let them think things over. When we told them to clear off, the next morning, nobody wanted to admit that he had come armed. They all just left their weapons behind. So I said, 'okay, let's just say we found them'."

If gun control doesn't keep firearms out of the hands of criminals (genocidal criminals at that) in Soviet Russia, it is not going to do so in Soviet America.

The fact is that some adherents of what was politely called gun control are in fact the heirs of Adolf Hitler and the National Socialist German Workers Party.  As a result it has become very-very-very-easy to predict what an advocate of public disarmament will say.  All one has to do is take any mouth dropping of Reichsminister Paul Joseph Goebbels and substitute the words Gun Owner for the word Jew.  Yes, it’s that obvious.  There's no such thing as "common sense gun control" those who are in favor of banning firearms are Enemies of Humanity and should be treated in the Nuremberg style, from the neck until dead, and there's no limit to what a Statist can do to a disarmed victim.

The gun control people are saying that it's easier to buy firearms than groceries.

No.

This is a lie.

Anyone in the State of Minnesota can buy groceries but if you have as much as a misdemeanor on your record forget buying a gun.

The gun control people are lying as usual.

The Left abhors the thought of being judged by their character because they have none. What's present is the black hole of their lust for power.  A desire for control over every aspect of our lives that distorts or destroys everything that comes within their influence.  The positive side is that if we don't drop below their moral event horizon we can escape from their influence.   But we will be damaged as a result.

Anyone who feels that they're infallible is already in the failure mode.

Most Conservatives would be considered radicals in the sixties.

Socialism is simply stone age savagery heavily disguised with a heavy coat of make up.

A Quote From A Conservative

Who is this Leftist? Take his description of his political program: A "declaration of war against the order of things which exist, against the state of things which exist, in a word, against the structure of the world which presently exists". You could hardly get a more change-oriented or revolutionary programme than that. So whose programme was it? Marx? Lenin? Stalin? Trotsky? Mao? No. It was how Hitler described his programme towards the end of "Mein Kampf". And the Left pretend that Hitler was some sort of conservative! Perhaps it not labouring the point also to ask who it was that described his movement as having a 'revolutionary creative will' which had 'no fixed aim, _ no permanency, only eternal change'. It could very easily have been Trotsky or Mao but it was in fact Hitler (O'Sullivan, 1983. p. 138). Clearly, Nazism was nothing more nor less than a racist form of Leftism (rather extreme Leftism at that) and to label it as "Rightist" or anything else is to deny reality.

I quoted Dr. John Ray.

Question And Answer

What's a Conservative?

A Conservative is someone who wants to preserve a basic value.  In the American context it's Liberty.

(I could go on about Christian conservatives like Jerry Falwell, but why bother?  Falwell took advantage of the First Amendment of the American Constitution.  I could say more about Falwell but it would require barracks language.)

On The Contrary

Christian Conservatives believe that Atheists are a problem.  No, they aren't.

But today we are subject to the literal whims of creatures with absolutely no understanding of Human Life or of the responsibilities of citizenship.  They scream and throw temper tantrums that would embarrass an actual child while making demands that are absolutely insane.  Their ignorance of ethics and economics lead to demands that could only be enforced by those with an total lack of conscience such as Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge.

At least I'm not a problem.

Pop Quiz

A dilemma:

Originally posted on Dec 8, 2003

Question: You're walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children. Suddenly, a dangerous looking man with a huge knife comes around the corner, locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, raises the knife, and charges. You are carrying a Glock .45 and you are an expert shot.

You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family. What do you do?
The conservative answer to the dilemma is stated in a single word. The liberal on the other hand wouldn't live long enough to complete the train of what we'll politely refer to as thought.

When I used to write for The Resister I wrotea feature called the "Moral Decision Game," in which the would-be patriot insurrectionist had to deal with an anticipated moral problem. The situation that I presented in the proposal (published as MDG#0) for the feature involved unarmed pro-socialist demonstrators blocking a choke point. (When I showed MDG#0 to my landlady she asked me how she was supposed to clean the blood and gunk off of the tank treads.)

My answer to anyone who would claim that shooting the assailant in the problem presented by the editors of Human Events is a violation of the right to life of the assailant is that the right to life is the right to live a human life. the life of a rationial and productive individual. It is not a right to behave as a subhuman animal.  A right is a concept and as such can only apply to those who understand (or in the case of children, can be expected to learn) the concepts and adhere to them. Those who choose to act like animals have surrendered any claim to any human right.

A Thought

A problem with The Anointed is that they are the last to suffer the negative consequences of their own insanity.

Groan...

My Conservative friend Mark Urbin linked to a post on Tumblr by a "proudblackconservative":

"Do hardline atheists start religious wars and kill people for believing differently? No."
Let me tell you the story of soviet Russia…

Now it is correct to point out that Atheism alone is not inherently a virtue. To be a proper Atheist should be the result of practicing the virtue of rationality.  But the Proud Black Conservative has apparently bought into the fraud that Communism is an inherently atheist doctrine.

From the absolute origin the doctrine of Communism was the result of the rejection of Reason.  In fact the doctrine of Communism is essentially an excuse to behave as predatory animals.  Thus all conceptions of a moral law, including virtually all laws based on the doctrine of a religion*, must be rejected outright.  As God is held to be the author of moral law in the Western Monotheist Tradition his existence must be denied by the practicing Communist.  This leads to the posture of Communists of being Atheists.

The fact is power over productive people is fundamental goal of the practicing Communist and therefore they will use any excuse, or body of excuses such as Liberation Theology, to obtain it.

*The obvious exception being Islam.

Announcement

As I write this a full moon is setting to the west.

A friend recently suggested that I stand for the office of President of the United States.  After giving the concept some thought I have decided to do so.

My fundamental goal as President will be to restore complete compliance of the Federal Government to the Constitution and the complete sovereignty of our nation with respect to the transnational order.

And I fully look forward to interaction with the Fourth Estate:

Reporter: Mr. Bates, how do you as a Christian Conservative justify your opposition to Social Justice?

Candidate LB: Good question.  Have you thought of asking an actual Christian Conservative?

Reporter: What?

Candidate LB: I stopped believing in the Western Monotheist Tradition over four decades ago.  I have made no secret of my disbelief since that time.  Even when I enlisted in the United States Army during the administration of President Ronald Reagan.

In light of this answer the reporter would have to engage in actual thought in order to respond.

Regardless of the outcome I fully expect to have fun.

Nonsense

Some Conservative writers have published articles and even one book asserting that President John F. Kennedy was in fact a Conservative.

I have to call nonsense on this.

The Kennedy Brothers were professional pragmatic politicians who acted and made the statements necessary to obtain and to be reelected to public offices.  Conservative positions were taken in order to obtain the requisite votes.  For the Kennedy Brothers the figurative wet finger was always in the wind.

For Edward Kennedy the political positional options were limited after the Chappaquiddick Incident.  No Conservative, let alone  anyone with an actual conscience, would vote for a drunken serial philanderer who left a date to suffocate after a car accident.

But then Teddy also had a reputation for being an idiot.

On Assassination

A Leftist -- especially a formally indoctrinated leftist -- will believe anything except the truth.

For example  the New York Times has published an editorial piece claiming that President John F. Kennedy was assassinated as a result of the collective will of the City of Dallas, Texas.

[LINK HERE]

The fact that President Kennedy was murdered in a Democrat controlled state by a Communist apparently did not enter the non-existent mind of the author. Nor did the fact that there is no such clearly identifiable thing as a collective will.  That belief is simply a Marxist myth.

The fact is that the assassination of a significant political figure is essentially a suicide mission. The term assassin is derived from the Islamic cult of the Assassins.  A group whose members were induced into performing suicide missions through the use of hashish.

Even though more than sufficient grounds have been provided for a seizure of the Federal Government by force it will not happen because those who can do so understand that Barack Obama is not the cause of the problem, he is merely the symptom.  The actual problem is the subculture holds the rights of individuals in contempt and is willing to use force to reach their goals.  A single assassination will not solve this problem.

Though there is no shortage of trained individuals who are able to carry out the mission it will not happen because we who have the necessary skills understand that it would be futile.  If Barack Obama were assassinated it will be the result of someone who identified him as insufficiently Marxist or Islamic in action.

What are your questions on this block of instruction?

UPDATE 0145 CST:

I attempted to post most of the text of this article on an Objectivist mailing list.  The list owner replied:

Even to write about why you *won't* assassinate the President is both inappropriate and likely to bring the FBI down on you.

I replied:

Sir,
I understand your point.  But I've been tempting fate and the FBI for about two decades now.  I've posted The Resister online and contributed to it.  And I've stopped believing that the failure of the Feds to act is due to an affirmative action diversity hire failing to do her job.

But then perhaps I've been insufficiently provocative.
Any further questions?

UPDATE 0155 CST:

Perhaps His Imperial Majesty would be emotionally damaged if he were told that he wasn't worth the bullet.

Aphorism Of The day

“Righteousness is no substitute for being right.”

Religious Conservatives have accepted as a fact of reality that they are sinners. They accept the fact that they can be wrong on a temporal issue and that they can identify the problem and correct it.

Leftists on the other hand apparently believe that because they are leftists they can do no wrong.

Mass graves in Communist states? Blank out.
