Here in Minnesota anyone regardless of their criminal history can buy books or groceries without a permit.  The purchase of any firearm requires a state issued permit and if you have a criminal background forget it.

The Big Zero had again demonstrated that he is mentally disconnected from reality should be removed from office as soon as possible.

Last night during my evening walk I passed by the local branch of the postal workers (?) union and in the window was a yard sign for the late DFL* occupant of a senate seat Paul Wellstone. 

This wasn't the first time i encountered this nonsense.  Back when I was delivering pizza  I delivered a large order to another postal workers (?) union hall on Lake Street and they had another Wellstone yard sign on display as if it were an Eastern Orthodox Christian icon

That piece of excrement has been dead how long?  And they still worship him?

The Democratic Farmer Labor Party of Minnesota isn't a political faction, it's a cult.

*Yes, it's as bad as it sounds.

Thought For The Day

If The Big Zero were to strip naked and walk down Pennsylvania Avenue the mainstream media drones would proceed to describe the well tailored suit that he is clearly not wearing.

A Reminder

Everything of value has a price.  Even at the cost of a life.

A Recycled Rant From 13 Years Ago

Inherent in all Socialist doctrines and public statements is the implicit premise that the non-socialist is a mindless or soulless animal without rights and should be treated as such by the ideal socialist state.  If there is anyone who has a right to be offended at such public utterances it is the victims of Socialism.

Of course the Socialist Twit is going to be offended when the truth is spoken. Socialism is in practice the destruction of persons and entire societies as a whole. Socialist doctrines are the lies that the socialist must tell himself in order to avoid the self realization that he is in fact a thief and a murderer. 

Of course the truth is going to hurt their feelings. So what?

A Socialist is not bothered when one of their number publicly incites a mob to murder elected officials and their families because said officials appear to be complying with the Constitution to which they are subject.  They apparently see this as normal and acceptable behavior.  But because the Socialist cannot--or will not--believe that there is a higher standard of personal and political behavior they will freak out every time they see a bunch of farmers get together for some target practice in fear that this is the mob that is coming after them.

In order to live each man require accurate information in order to make correct moral decisions. Valid knowledge is like food and oxygen, a necessary requirement of human life.  Because the range of the senses of each individual is limited, men have through the practice of verbal (and later written) communication used each other as a means of extending the range of their own senses, and thus improving their own prospects for survival.

Societies that value knowledge will generally tend to be more economically and technologically advanced than those societies that devalue knowledge.  Whenever a military confrontation occurs between Rational states and the Irrational, the Rational as a general rule will come out on top of the struggle.

If we treat our own right to life as sacred, then we must treat the Truth as nothing less than sacred.  Those who demand that we ignore the Truth or would forcibly prevent us from learning the Truth should be treated as nothing less than Enemies of Mankind in General, to be dealt will as wolves are.

That's pretty much my rant for today.

Thoughts For The Day

I'm going to have two thoughts today.

First, if the system put forth in the novel Starship Troopers by Robert Heinlein was in place The Big Zero would never have qualified as a Citizen nor as a candidate for ANY public office.

Second, it was obvious that Joe Biden was functionally a moron.  This allowed The Big Zero to proof himself against impeachment and assassination.  But the fact is that Barrack Obama clearly does not understand what Human Life is and thus has no understanding of the role of government in a Human society.

The absolute fact is that Obama has to be removed from office.  Even if it means having to put up with that moron Joe Biden as President for two years.

An Old Thought

Back in November of 2008 I said this online:

Of course Barack Obama will have a problem with selfishness.

And it's not simply an issue of tax policy. Before one can say, "this is wrong, I won't do it", one has to say "I".

Conscience is the expression of the ego in the moral realm. To make a moral judgment and to act on it are basically selfish acts. It is the self that sees through its own eyes and acts on its own knowledge of right and wrong.  You could not be selfish if you cannot live with yourself.

Rational Selfishness as defined and advocated by Ayn Rand was limited to acts which benefited one's self but caused no harm or inflicted a cost on another person.

The narcissist, especially in the political realm, is not concerned with the injuries and burdens inflicted on other people. In fact, the more destructive the consequences of obedience to those who obey the narcissist, the better. Human sacrifice with beating hearts cut out and victims flayed alive, that's great. Millions worked to death in slave labor camps in Siberia, as far as the narcissist is concerned that's better.

In order for me to say, "I, Leslie Bates, do solemnly swear to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America..." I have to say "I". That was my ego speaking when I took the oath of enlistment.

Anniversary

Today is the 100th anniversary of the day the Austro-Hungarian Empire declared war on the Kingdom of Serbia, thus officially initiating the First World War.

Now it's a matter of time before the Comrade Putin starts the Third World War.

A Suggestion

Fundamental to the Republican concept of Government is accountability to the People.  When two years of communications by the primary tax collector are destroyed it is clearly an attempt to avoid being held accountable under the Constitution.  And this is only one of the many offenses against the nation committed by the Obama regime.

No further evidence is required, the unconstitutional Obama regime must be removed from power by any means necessary. And it must be done now before further damage is done to the nation.

All members of the Armed Forces have taken a oath to uphold and defend The Constitution.  This requires a military coup be performed now.

Weird Dream

I had a weird dream last night.

It involved two people I hadn't seen in years. The first being a really fat ethnic Polish DFL/union activist who was into RPG/wargaming back in the Early 80's. The other being a former friend who somehow didn't get the sex change operation in the real world and was shacking up with a woman who strongly resembled his mother.  There was a cheaply printed magazine that had parts of an article highlighted with bright pink and blue markers.  And the whole thing was set to a hard folk soundtrack.

This may have been the result of having gone out for a long -- three hour -- walk before crashing for the night.

I do need more exercise.
