What's a Conservative?
A Conservative is someone who wants to preserve a basic value. In the American context it's Liberty.
(I could go on about Christian conservatives like Jerry Falwell, but why bother? Falwell took advantage of the First Amendment of the American Constitution. I could say more about Falwell but it would require barracks language.)
