It's The Thought That Counts

A television station reports:

A shot was fired at the Republican Party headquarters in Huntington Thursday night, while two dozen supporters of George W. Bush watched him accept his party's nomination on television.

To the barbarian the greatest evil is the refusal to submit to his will. The left essentially believes that the proper way to deal others is by force or the credible threat of same.

Fortunately, most leftists are poseurs who prefer to have others do their dirty work.

For the moment.

Update at 0508 CDT:

Voter-Fraud Inquiries Lead to Death Threats

Sources tell 13 News a plot has been uncovered to kill the U.S. attorney prosecuting voter fraud cases in southern West Virginia.

Kasey Warner has spearheaded the cases against several people in Logan and Lincoln counties.

The sources say Warner and two of his brothers -- Republican gubernatorial candidate Monty Warner and state GOP chairman Kris Warner -- are the targets of these death threats.

Despite the dangers, federal agents say their will continue their investigations.

Let's see, what party routinely uses voter fraud to win elections?

There is actually a book on the subject.

If It's Not Close, They Can't Cheat: Crushing the Democrats in Every Election and Why Your Life Depends on It by Hugh HewittI'm currently reading Reckless Disregard: How Liberal Democrats Undercut Our Military, Endanger Our Soldiers, and Jeopardize Our Security by Robert Patterson. Among other things, it details Senator Kerry's anti-military voting record since his election to the Senate in 1984. If Kerry is lucky, he'll keep getting pounded on his time in Vietnam and his work aiding the Communist North Vietnamese government after the war.
There is a reason his voting record in the Senate was not mentioned during the DNC.
