This may actually be my rant of the year.

To make a reply to this individual would be a useless gesture.

Right-wingers have long been fascinated by Ayn Rand, the mid-century pop philosopher who defined moral behavior as doing whatever will make you, the individual, happy, and opposed any government intervention in the economy or charitable giving. Based on her economic beliefs, you can understand why, for example, Rep. Paul Ryan makes each of his staff members read her most famous novel Atlas Shrugged. But shouldn't it bother some of these right-wingers that she was, to use their own language, a "radical atheist," too?

Ryan, a Catholic, was confronted on this rather obvious friction last Friday, as he was leaving notorious GOP grifter Ralph Reed's Faith and Freedom Conference in Washington D.C. A young man supposedly representing a religious organization concerned with promoting economic justice — just like in the old days! — caught up with Ryan as he made his way through the hallway. He introduced himself as a Catholic and began hurling questions to Ryan about why he supports the economically immoral cult of atheist Ayn Rand. He offers Ryan a Bible and suggests he pay more attention to Luke!

This comes less than a month after 75 Catholic professors sent a scolding letter to Speaker John Boehner, a Catholic, for pushing a harsh budgetary agenda which they see as violating their religious principles.

All we're trying to do is give a "heads up" to those policymakers who run their mouths about being devout Catholics while simultaneously promoting Randian economics: Get your canned responses ready, because people are starting to notice.

One cannot rationally argue with someone on a matter of faith. To do so is clearly an act of futility. One may as well attempt to practice medicine on the dead,

What I can do is to explain, to other rational people, why I cannot submit to this load of mental excrement.

Let's begin with the basics.

A IS A.

On the epistemological level this means that regardless of what someone wishes to believe that THE TRUTH IS THE TRUTH.

This means that the TRUTH cannot be changed or otherwise negated. No matter how many times a lie is repeated or how many guns are shoved into into a person’s face or even how many people are actually murdered in order to enforce a lie.

But any smug Catholic such as the one I quoted above would claim that he is only following the commands of God when he is unleashing force upon us to comply with the will of God.

Whose commands?

At no time in the fifty one years of my life have I ever come into physical or visual contact with God. I have never EVER received a message from God. No phone calls. No letters or other junk mail through the U.S. Postal Service. Not even an e-mail from god@god.god, even though he should be able to get something through the spam filter.

Nothing. At. All.

I simply have no reason to believe in the existence of God.

As a consequence I have to treat any demand that I obey God as so much nonsensical noise.

But does not stop numerous individuals from claiming to speak for God and demanding obedience to his will on his behalf. Nor does it stop these individuals from writing numerous books outlining those claims and their demands for obedience.

The issue is, again, that there is no objectively verifiable evidence for the existence of this being.

But, say the Theists, God created Heaven and the Earth, therefore he must exist and therefore we (meaning YOU) must obey him.

Really?

(I regret to say that I do not have access to my personal library and it has been some time since I have read the relevant works. My answer to the aforementioned nonsense may be the reverse of Rand’s answer to it. And I will not be able to place the correct citations in this article. Please bear with me on this.)

It is claimed by Theists that God, as his first miracle, created the Earth, and by implication the rest of the Universe, Ex Nihilo. Literally out of nothing. And that there was nothing in existence before the Universe was created by God.

Nothing at all?

Theists often claim that God was the original conscious being. But in order to be conscious one must be conscious of something.

A consciousness that is conscious of nothing is a contradiction in terms.

Therefore there must always be something in existence.¹

Existence has to exist.

But some theists also claim that God is omnipotent. That he can do anything and is not limited by the laws of nature.

Really?

Existence is identity. To be is to be something in particular.

An omnipotent being is NOTHING in particular. Which is to say, it is nothing at all.

But let’s look at the practical effects of omnipotence.

An omnipotent being should not have ANY unfulfilled needs or desires. An omnipotent being should not be bored in any way. Furthermore, an omnipotent being should not any uncorrected physical or psychological flaws.

An omnipotent being should not have to create the Universe or to create Man to serve him.

If God exists, then we should not exist.

And by we I mean a physical and conscious being who carries out his own action by his own decisions.

If God, the omnipotent being exists, then Man cannot direct his own actions by his own free will. A man cannot even decide to
submit or not submit to the will of someone who claims to speak on behalf of God.²

But all of the above does not prevent theists from making their most absurd claim yet.

That each of us has an immortal soul. If we obey God then the soul will be eternally rewarded by being allowed to enter Heaven.³ And if we do not obey God then we will eternally punished by being sent to Hell.⁴

Never mind that there is no evidence that the mind can be separated from the body and preserved in some fashion.

Theists are not simply doing this to be sadistic.

As a class the clergy are not productive members of a society. In order to exist they need the material support of those in their domain. They also need to feel that they can continue to rely on the support their victims.

In short they need wealth and power.

The history of organized religion is the history of robbery by fraud and the murder of those who rightfully refuse to obey and materially support the self appointed speakers for God.

And if the Judeo-Christian version wasn’t bad enough, the perpetrator of Islam took the most evil aspects of Western Monotheism and turned them up to eleven.

In a novel that I’m writing I have a character who is thinking of what so say to the convert to Islam who was responsible for the murder of his wife and daughter:

But in Islam,‭ ‬those who submit to the obviously false god Allah,‭ ‬and obey the obviously false prophet Big Mo,‭ ‬and who in their supposedly holy names go out and conquer and abuse the unbelievers,‭ ‬will get to eternally rape a bunch of eternal victims as if they were a bunch of eternal animals in Allah’s eternal whorehouse.

Okay. I’m not nice.

The fundamental part of the scam of organized religion is the notion that God owns Man. That Man has no rights that those who enforce the will of God need to respect. And that those who refuse to obey God, as represented by the clergy, will not only be subjected to spiritual punishment but must also be subject to temporal punishment. The Founders of the American Republic understood that this would lead to sectarian violence and in the first article of amendment of The Constitution prohibited the enforcement of sectarian doctrines.

The smug Catholic such as the one I quoted above apparently does not understand this or does not care. What matters is the warm and fuzzy feeling that he receives from abusing the power of government to enforce the will of God.

And if some unbelievers have to die? Well that because they disobeyed God.

Speaking only for myself I fully believe that those who deny the Rights of Man cannot claim those same rights for themselves.

I cannot believe in the concept of God. I will not submit to those claim they are enforcing the will of God.

I will live my life by my own rational judgement. And I do not care how many priests and obedient followers I have to kill, how many places of worship I have to demolish, and how sacred texts that I have to burn to do it.

I will judge. And I will prepare to be judged.

Mike Riggs of Reason.com has the following to say about police misconduct in Saint Paul, Minnesota:

A St. Paul, Minnesota family claims in a lawsuit that police officers who conducted a wrong-door raid on their home shot their dog, and then forced their three handcuffed children to sit near the dead pet while officers ransacked the home. The lawsuit, which names Ramsey County, the Dakota County Drug Task Force, and the DEA, and asks for $30 million in civil rights violations and punitive damages after a wrong-door raid, also claims that the officers kicked the children and deprived one of them of her diabetes medication.

The child went into a diabetic seizure. If the girl had died this would be a clear case of murder.

There are basically two ways to bring this nonsense to an end:

The Totalitarian solution would be to follow the lead of Chairman Mao and arrest and summarily execute anyone anyone who was suspected of being a pusher or a user.

Just dig a few ditches and set up a few machine guns. No need to build camps with those special shower and oven facilities.

The Libertarian solution would be to stop interfering with the evolutionary process by re-legalizing the sale and use of hard drugs and letting the idiots kill themselves.

Of course that wouldn't be progressive, caring, or compassionate.

The Totalitarian solution also has the apparent virtue of allowing the Holy Total State to get rid their open critics without a constitutionally valid legal procedure.

It would not be a surprise under such circumstances to witness my former friend Doug Graen, who is now an open member of the Church of Obamatology, come forth and claim that I used Marijuana back in the late Eighties. This would be no more absurd than "her" claim that because I oppose socialist violence that I'm a totalitarian murderer.

An African American Asshole is arrested for being an asshole:

Romayne Davis surrendered at the Broward Main Jail on a single charge of unauthorized transmission and interference with a public radio station. He disrupted the soothing sounds of classical radio station 89.7 FM with the unexpected beats of rap music, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.

Detectives launched an investigation after receiving a complaint from a listener of WKCP Classical South Florida. Instead of hearing the usual symphonies and sonatas, the station's airwaves were blaring with the sounds of rap music and "vulgar speech and lyrics," officials said.

Investigators found a warehouse on the 3000 block of Northwest 23rd Way in Oakland Park on July 12 where the illegal pirate radio station was broadcasting.

Let's see, someone comes home from their place of employment after doing a day of actual productive work, and turns on their radio with the reasonable expectation of listening to some real music made by real musicians who spent most of their lives leaning their real trade.

Only instead of listening to real music the victim is hit with a barrage of incoherent and obscene noise generated by one or more no-talent nihilists.

Under such circumstances one may be tempted to think, "rope, lamp post, asshole, some assembly required."

But some liberal twits will, of course, accuse one of being a racist for thinking such a thought. But then the idea that one should be able to live one's own life in accordance to one's own judgement is such an alien idea to a liberal that is may as well come from the planet Mars.

Liberal's are, after all, nothing more than a bunch of parasites themselves. Without the capacity to force their will upon us, through the police agencies, they would shrivel up and die. So in order to live at our expense they have to teach their victims to accept the state of submission, regardless of the consequences.

So it should not be a surprise that this asshole acted to emulate his liberal masters and impose his will on some radio listeners.

Now of course I wouldn't be surprised if the asshole formerly known as Doug Graen wanders in and accuses me of being a hypocrite. Pay absolutely no attention to the Glock 36 pistol and the concealed carry permit the "she" carries while openly supporting the present occupant of the White House and his agenda of disarming, subjugating, and plundering the productive people of this nation.

Is it hypocrisy when the choice to make me a dependent of the welfare state was made by my mother while I was laying unconscious on a hospital bed? And if Doug actually thought about it (Thought! What an alien concept!) "she" would see that suicide is not a solution to the ethical problem that I found myself in. It would only leave a larger mess for someone else to clean up.

Leaving the ethical hole that I'm in is not impossible. And I will do it.

But returning to the subject of this rant, I did give some thought to writing on the subject of the noise commonly known as "Rap." And I came to the conclusion at the time that it wasn't worth the effort.

I did perform some research on the subject. I found a a video, for something called "Ice, Ice, Baby," on You Tube by a soulless no-talent nobody from South Florida who adopted the trade name of "Vanilla Ice."

I listened it it for 42 seconds before shutting it off. Seriously, Yoko Ono has more talent than this moron. I would rather listen to one of her albums (from the late Sixties or early Seventies on the Apple Records label) than be further subjected to the noise generated by a rapper.

This moron starts off by literally ripping off the bass riff from the beginning of the Queen/David Bowie song "Under Pressure."

Literally.

He apparently couldn't be bothered to actually hire someone to play the bass riff. I suppose that would actually require someone with actual talent to perform the act.

And then the moron walks onto screen wearing an absurd costume and an absurd haircut.

Why?

I suppose because someone told him that the image that he projected was cool. Whereas anyone with functioning neurons in their head would laugh their ass off or shake their heads in disbelief at the image of this moron.

And then this moron opens his mouth.

This moron drones on in a monotone voice about how wonderful he is. He is followed by his entourage who also mumble about how wonderful he is.

At this point I shut off the video.

Gosh What A Surprise

KGO-TV in San Francisco has the following story:

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The San Francisco bicyclist accused of running over and killing an elderly pedestrian was back in court today.

36-year-old Chris Bucchere is charged with felony vehicular manslaughter for allegedly running a red light last March at Castro and Market Streets.

The district attorney says Bucchere was speeding and made no attempt to stop when he struck 71-year- old Sutchi Hui. The prosecutor rejected a request by Bucchere's lawyer to exempt him from appearing personally in court.

"This is a form of a homicide. An innocent man who was crossing the street is no longer with us. The inconvenience it may cause Mr. Bucchere is irrelevant to me. He should be at every single court appearance for something so serious," San Francisco Asst. District Attorney Omid Talai said.

Talai says he has not decided what kind of punishment Bucchere should face if he is found guilty.

Somehow the moron that is being quoted above has taken offense at the idea that good people should be depicted as behaving like good people.

Falsehood And Factual Response Of The Day

Good afternoon dear readers.

Let me ask, how through the act of objective observation, is someone able to discover that a Democrat is lying? The answer is very simple, one observes that the Democrat's lips are moving or the fingers are in contact with the keyboard.

Today's falsehood is brought to us by the chairman of the Democratic Party in the state of Oklahoma.

I'm not really sure where or how I should begin to reply to this bit of nonsense. This statement is just so wrong on so many levels.

But let's begin with the fact that McVeigh was a white racial collectivist. This is nothing new in the American political scene as President Woodrow Wilson was himself a white racial collectivist. Amongst his first actions in office as president was to fire every African-American employee of the federal government. President Wilson also voiced his approval of the white racial propaganda film The Birth Of A Nation.

President Wilson also practiced one of the other annoying habits of collectivist political leaders, the conscription of male citizens in order to intervene in a foreign war. In this case the slaughter festival that was going on in Europe at the time.

Let me put it this way, if he were alive today, I believe that President Woodrow Wilson would not be a member of the Tea Party.

Comrade Collins also claims that the Tea Party movement is against the government. To any rational observer this appears to be incorrect.

The Tea Party Movement, which includes members of all races, is acting through legal means to bring the apparatus of the federal government into full compliance with the United States Constitution. McVeigh, on the other hand, was openly advocating the overthrow of the federal government as part of the white warrior martyrdom fantasy that he was living out.

And what can I say about the inspiration of that white warrior martyrdom fantasy, that piece of ideological and literary excrement known as The Turner Diaries?

The novel, if I recall reading it correctly, depicts the conquest and subjugation of the white population of the United States by a self appointed elite group that called itself "The Order." All non-whites, including Jews, were exterminated. Any white person who refused to obey The Order was executed as a race traitor. The actions of The Order as depicted in the novel were very much like the practice of Islam without the claim of divine sanction. Unlike today's political Right, but like all known collectivists, such as the National Socialists of Germany, The Order rejected all of the Rights of Man and killed anyone who served no place in their collective.

Fortunately, I read it on a website where the text was posted.** So apart from the fee for Internet access, I didn't have to pay a cent to read it. I would later describe the experience of reading it as being the intellectual equivalent of the act of swimming in raw sewage.

Before he committed his collectivist atrocity, McVeigh was also ejected from a meeting of the Michigan Militia.

Before I began my association with The Resister, I was actively corresponding with the founder of the Michigan Militia, the Reverend Norm Olson, and had accepted an invitation to attend a militia meeting.***

Like the members of the Tea Party a generation later, the members of the militia wanted to the see the federal government return to compliance with the Constitution. But the members of the militia were also preparing to defend themselves and their families from further acts of state terror after the Waco Massacre.

The fact of matter was that the Massacre of the Branch Davidians outside of Waco was completely unnecessary.

The U.S. Army rifle platoon I trained with in 1982 could have secured the structure without killing any of the children or the elderly adults. Yes it was possible that some of us actual soldiers could have been wounded or killed in the action. But that's part of the hazards of the job.

What the so called Hostage Rescue Team of the FBI did to was to inject into the building several tear gas cannisters. These cannisters emitted a gas that was both toxic to unprotected children and elderly adults, and which served as an accelerant for a larger fire in the structure. The tear gas cannisters also served as the source of the fire which ultimately consumed the structure and those living in it. The HRT also used the armored engineer vehicles they were issued to destroy the exits to the structure, thus effectively preventing the escape of the inhabitants.

The massacre of the Branch Davidians was a deliberate act of state terror which was carried straight out of the collectivist ruler handbook. The purpose was to demonstrate to all the consequences of disobeying the collectivists who then occupied the White House.

Whereas the members of the Tea Party are clearly on the Libertarian side of the political aisle, Comrade Mcveigh, as well as Comrade Collins and the current occupant of the White House are firmly seated on the Collectivist side of the aisle.


* Quite frankly, I find it difficult to believe that the Democrats in the state of Oklahoma are anything more than a bunch of raving loonies meeting in the back room of a leather bar, given the history of that state.

** The website and text is gone now. I think this is somewhat unfortunate because I believe that no rational person should have to pay a cent for the privilege of reading a book that calls for their own murder.

*** I was actually the best equipped person to show up at that meeting.

The title of general as given to members of the Jedi Order is as best a courtesy.

The actual practice of generalship as it evolved in the Twentieth Century basically involved the general standing over a table with a map and some telephones as he received information from and gave orders to staff officers. Even Erwin Rommel, who had a reputation as a lead from the front general, did not actually lead a charge in person as a general officer.

It would appear that the clone officers of the clone army did a better job of leading than the Jedis who were granted the title of general.

Barack Obama Is Still A F***ing Idiot

One of the problems with seeing one's self as being infallible is that one tends to take a slack attitude towards doing one's own research. This usually leads to the tendency to commit errors. The overall effect is that those who believe in their own infallibility are inevitably finding themselves in the failure mode.

The glorious third world leader presently occupying our White House, Barack Obama, has just demonstrated this fact by iccorectly referring to the Falklands Islands as the Maldives.

It is bad enough that Comrade Obama has reflexively taken the third world position on the Falklands issue, but the least he could do is get the Argentine name for islands right.

Now before one of our occasional leftist readers starts ranting about how I treat the Right as always being right, I will point out that the State Department (usually referred to on this blog as the Department of Treason) under the direction the Republican Secretary of State Haig had essentially taken the Argentine side of the issue, and were working on a plan to let the Argies get away with their invasion of the Falklands.

Secretary Haig could at least make the effort to cook up an excuse for such a gross breach of diplomatic protocol in light of the ongoing Cold War. Our glorious leader Barack Obama has apparently and reflexively taken the third world view that Western nations are always wrong regardless of the actual facts on the ground.

I have to wonder how our glorious leader would respond if Comrade Putin had demanded the return of the state of Alaska to Russian control.

Of course I had to read about this story on the site of a British newspaper. The American media is not covering this story.

I'm reposting this rant as a comment on the present efforts of the left to legally silence Rush Limbaugh.

The Left, and the self styled intelligentsia in particular, stands by and cheers as every new manifestation of barbarism rises and slaughters good people and innocent children. The chattering classes willingly support and serve the enemies of mankind and viciously slander and condemn those who dare to raise a hand in defense of the defenseless. They sit on their fat asses in avant-garde¹ coffee² houses cooking up paranoid conspiracy theories about how Christian Conservatives are planning to exterminate their own particular and pathetic social fringe group.³

But if the stupid conspiracy theories of the Left were true they would all be dead.

Let's see...if we on the Right were to treat the Left the way that Great Comrade Stalin treated anyone he suspected of being an opponent, let alone someone who was an actual opponent, would any of these pathetic lunatics still be breathing, let alone continuing to rant like a mob of mentally disconnected lunatics who are off their meds?

I wouldn't think so.

If Conservatives dealt with the adherents of Libéralisme Moderne the way the Left has dealt with humans in general whenever the Left has obtained unrestrained power, there wouldn't be any Liberals left standing. Of the universities and the urban centers of Liberalism there would be nothing left but smoking ruins, and there would mass graves from coast to coast.

We need to face the fact that the present day Left, like the unschooled barbarians who plagued civilization before them, are essentially parasites. If the Huns or the Mongols were to take "no" for an answer to their demands for food and other material goods they would die very quickly. Control of the productive population is essential for their survival and well being. Compulsion, taking things and persons by force, is inherently necessary to the parasite manner of existence. Those who resisted had to be killed as an object lesson for others.

The Left, our present-day literate post-Marxist barbarians, not only need material support they also need spiritual support as well. They need to feel that their victims are not only submitting to them today but will do so tomorrow as well.

Barbarian chieftains and tribal witch-doctors demanded degrading and often dangerous acts of worship from their subjects, up to and including human sacrifice, in order to assure themselves that they would still have a roof (or a tent) over their heads and food to eat the next day. Those refused to obey were worked over by the goon squad or simply killed.

In the classrooms, editorial offices, and coffee shops of the Left the demand is for unquestioned agreement without regard to the actual facts of reality. The self-styled intellectuals of the Left are the first to demand “speech codes” and other forms of censorship lest they be identified as frauds and poseurs and subsequently bounced out of their comfortable ivory towers, no longer insulated from a real world that demands real thought and real labor.

The Left, being dependent upon others for their sustenance, must stand in opposition to the society of rational consent and openly support systems of compulsion, be it various species of Socialism or the witch-doctor rule of Islam, because to do otherwise is to condemn themselves to death.

Of course, in my view, if the Left would just die it would be nice.

I will therefore predict that Barack Obama will be assassinated by a conspiracy originating in his own party.

So Anyway

I apparently got into a disagreement with another blogger over whether or not the original Star Wars movie (now known as Episode Four) was a low budget movie.

To put the argument in perspective I present the trailer and official website for really and truly low budget sci-fi film.

It was apparently shot over several weekends with the three actors getting the guild minimum of $75 a day. Which is a bit less than what I take home while driving a taxi on the night shift in Minneapolis.

I suspect with adjustments for inflation that Ed Wood had bigger budgets for his cinematic disasters.

One of the nice things about having one's own blog is that one cannot be banned from posting on for speaking the truth. This has already happened twice to me elsewhere for making factual statements about Islam and those who refuse to see the truth.

One of the problems I have with driving a taxi on the night shift is having to go into bars in order to find the person who called for the cab.

I really don't like bars and I really hate drunks.

Last night I had to go into Nye's in Northeast Minneapolis to find the passenger. She was clearly drunk, and once she was in the car she exhibited grossly rude and hostile behavior. I dumped her out back where I found her.
