We got both kinds here in the Peoples Republic of Taxachusetts. Sadly, they are in the state government. Two of the usual suspects have put together a bill to give drivers licenses to illegal immigrants in the name of "public safety".
It's pretty twisted logic to stitch those two concepts together, but then, we are talking about liberal democrats here.
