What is a Human Being? Ultimately it comes down to the exercise of moral judgment.
Those who don't exercise moral judgment can do anything.
"Judge, and prepare to be judged."
-- Ayn Rand
"Judge not, lest you be judged."
-- Attributed to Jesus Christ
When I was stationed at Fort Benning there were some things that were NEVER done.
If I were a zit-faced Anonymous hacker, I would be cowering under Mom’s bed with a well-founded fear that some muscly Israelis armed with Uzis would burst into my basement “lair” to spread my neurons and glions all over the wall.

Seriously.
Today on 40th Street near the NY State office building, I saw about a dozen black-coated (apparent) rabbis protesting against “Zionism” and in favor of the Palestinians! Now I know at least why this happened today. The sign I remember was: “Jewish suffering doesn't justify victimizing Palestinians.” Disgusting.
“Don’t be silly Madame Keller,” he said in a manner that was clearly speaking down to her, “we all know that laws are only made for the purpose of controlling the little people for the benefit of their betters.”Under the Primacy of the State the function of law is to control the productive population for the benefit of the ruling parasites. The rulers, and their immediate servants, are not subject to those laws themselves.
WASHINGTON (AP) — NBC journalist David Gregory won't face charges for displaying a high-capacity ammunition magazine on his "Meet the Press" news program last month, District of Columbia prosecutors announced Friday. The actual interest of the actual citizens is irrelevant. What matters is the whims of the rulers and those who willfully serve them.
The city's Office of the Attorney General, which handles low-level crimes, said criminal charges wouldn't serve the public's best interests even though possession of the magazine — capable of holding up to 30 rounds of ammunition — was clearly against local gun laws.
A philosophy professor at the Stevens Institute of Technology makes eloquently real the connection between nihilism and anti-integration. I quote from a letter from one of his students:
An anecdote from his own life... He said that he sat his 5 year old daughter down on his lap one day and asked "Where's Daddy?" She responded by pointing to him. He said. "No, that's Daddy's body. Where's Daddy?" She looked perplexed and then pointed to his head. He responded, "No, that's Daddy's head. Where's Daddy?" This conversation continued for some time until he had reduced his daughter to tears while she screamed, "Where's my Daddy? Where's my Daddy?" I dropped the course very soon after that...."

Since I moved into the Parker Skyview building in early November I have been subjected to overwhelming noise emitted from the adjacent apartment. I have repeatedly called the police to intervene to no practical effect. As of Christmas Eve I was notified by the watch commander at the Second Precinct that they will no longer respond to my complaints about the noise issue.
Are we now living in a state of anarchy?
Yours respectfully,
