Thoughts For The Day

I object to despotism, death, and destruction, therefore I'm some kind of evil being?

Let's legalize everything and let evolution take it's course.

Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it a highly sought-after voting bloc.

Just because someone else is holding the gun doesn't change the fact that someone is engaged in the act of robbery.

If I recall correctly the Allies only hanged one propagandist at Nuremberg.  Obviously the willing collaborators in the Mainstream Media didn't get the message or they believe that the message doesn't apply to them.  Should our present internal political situation devolve into an open civil war, I'd suggest doing a proper Roman style decimation of the willing propagandists in the MSM.  That's hang every tenth antihuman hack.

H. Beam Piper once wrote that political revolutions occur in a nation because the ruling class becomes discredited.  The Republican Party has to a large degree discredited itself by their continued insistence on practicing politics as usual and their continued practice of making deals with the other side.

A totalitarian is a totalitarian.  It doesn't matter if the bullet in your head was placed there by a National Socialist, or a Communist.  What does matter is that you're the victim of someone who truly believed that you and other people existed to serve as tools and materials for the construction of their ideological fantasy and who also believed that those who do not submit are trash to be disposed of.  Every member of the founding leadership of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union was once in the custody of the Russian Police for their revolutionary activities.  They should have been put to death, but were instead imprisoned and eventually released. Adolf Hitler was arrested and tried for his attempt to overthrow the State Government of Bavaria by force.  He should have been hanged for treason, but was instead imprisoned and released.  Tens of millions of people died because persons in positions of authority did not recognize the danger that these violent revolutionaries represented and failed to exercise the full powers available to them to prevent the great massacres of the Twentieth Century.

We need to understand that we’re stuck in an ancient struggle against people who believe that POWER is an actual value.  We need to understand that The Republican Party was founded as a response to the disgust held by many people to the current manifestation of Statism.   To deny free will is to deny personal responsibility for one's own actions.  And in an age when one can kill more people with the stroke of a pen than with a lifetime's use of a personal weapon that is a pretty useful excuse.

 Hatred is normal for Leftists.

“We must teach our children to hate. Hatred is the basis of communism.”

  --V.I. Lenin, 1923

On the subject of Marxism, Mark Hendrickson wrote:

"The hateful spirit of Marx and Lenin has suffused all leftist ideologies, movements, and regimes, whether Soviet communism, Hitler’s national socialism, or today’s illiberal progressivism and pagan environmentalism. Only hatred could explain the willingness to kill, enslave, and rob vast numbers of innocent human beings. Hatred corrodes one’s conscience. Under its toxic influence, a person will regard man’s God-given right to be secure in his life, liberty, and property as nuisances to be overcome, not commandments to be obeyed. The flip side of hatred is an inflated self-love, self-importance and self-righteousness so extreme that respect for other human beings diminishes and, in extreme cases (Stalin, Mao, Castro, Kim, et al.), disappears."

When I was involved with the U of M Objectivist Club, we had several lecturers from the Ayn Rand Institute.  One of the lecturers was Dr. Peter Schwartz on the subject of Environmentalism.  The club put up several posters advertising the lecture.  Some of those posters were replaced by leftists with posters with obscenities scrawled on them, including swastikas.

Question And Answer

Why are Vichy Republicans going along with this impeachment nonsense?

Wait a minute, I just answered my own question.

Party Like It's 1859

If the Republican party doesn't clean up its act then we as rational citizens will have no choice but to start a new party if we want to peacefully make changes and restore a rational system of government.  Is it time to start a new political party?

Yes.

The Western Monotheist Tradition and Socialism will be on the trash heap of history.  Do rational people have to follow the followers of Hillary Clinton,Bernie Sanders, and Conservatism?

No.

Hunting For A RINO

Tony Lee on Breitbart News reports:

Former Arkansas Republican Gov. Mike Huckabee, who has been slammed for raising taxes, commuting the sentence of a prisoner who ended up committing murder, and failing to successfully take on conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh, wants to outlaw the term "RINO."

Oh!  The poor baby!

In the context of inner-party politics the term is applied to Huckabee and other Establishment Republicans who’ve shown a tendency to compromise with Democrats or otherwise failed to stand up for conservative principles. In practice the RINO fails to understand that any act of compromise with the opposition negates the entire point of electing a Republican to an office.

Huckabee specifically stated:

One term that I’d like to see outlawed from the vernacular of the party is 'RINO...It stands for Republicans in Name Only, and it’s a pejorative term that questions the authenticity and orthodoxy of someone’s party purity. I’ve been called that myself, even though I fought in the trenches of Republican politics for over two decades. Even so, I would never pretend that I’m Lord over determining who the real Republicans are.

Even though I’m brain damaged I do understand the point of having an opposition party.  But apparently Huckabee refuses to see it.

It is very clear to every rational citizen that the Democratic Party is wrong on every core issue and is Hellbent on the pursuit of unrestrained power at the expense of The People.

He also said:

Personally, I think someone who agrees with me 90% of the time is not my enemy.

In effect Huckabee is a Pragmatist whose fundamental goal and value is power.  The negative impact of compromise has no meaning to him.  All that matters is being elected.

That absolute fact is that compromise with evil empowers evil.  By stating that he is willing to compromise with the enemy he is admitting to being part of the problem.

But now his feelings are hurt by being seen as being part of the problem.

That’s too bad.  Huckabee chose to be an enemy of The People and The Constitution.  He deserves no better that to be treated as such.

What are your questions on this block of instruction?

Repeating Myself

Six and a half years ago I said this:
What the Republican Party needs to get through their collective skulls right now is the fact that the age of politics as usual is over.

No more compromise. No more deals. No more bipartisanship.

There must be a radical clean up of the mess that the Left has created. The partisans of socialism must be systematically removed from our public institutions. And if we are to have a future as the core nation of our civilization we must make a special effort to clean out the Augean Stables that our educational establishment has become under the tutelage of the Left.

And we must with volume and clarity tell the spoiled brats who imagine themselves to be the heirs of Marx and Lenin to grow up or get out.

Of course, if those idiots would just die, it would be nice too.
At this point it wouldn't be nice.  It is absolutely necessary.

The Notional Debt

The question of the day: Should the victims be held liable for the debts run up by the criminals?

The correct answer is no. But try telling that to the Democrats and the Vichy Republicans.

The Democrats and the Vichy Republicans, who are in effect now a single ruling party, are exercising powers which were not granted to the Federal Government as well as powers which are specifically prohibited. And in doing so they have run up a debt that is both insane and beyond the capacity to redeem.

In short they are committing crimes against the people of the United States.

The Fourteenth Amendment, Fourth Section states:

The Validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned, but neither the United States nor any State shall assume or pay any debt or obligation incurred in aid of insurrection or rebellion against the United States, or any claim for the loss or emancipation of any slave; but all such debts, obligation and claims shall be held illegal and void.

Let's step back and examine the situation objectively. The executive and legislative branches of the federal government are in clear violation of the Constitution, and the judicial branch is along for the ride. Not only are they exercising specifically prohibited powers, but they are actively working to disarm the citizens of the nation. Which is in practical effect an act of insurrection.

To govern is to exercise control. But this mob which calls themselves the government is out of control. They refuse to comply with the laws to which they are subject. And they are now subjecting us to their will.

They are not the government. They are the insurrection.

Are we liable for their debts? Absolutely not.

My Cup Of Tea

With the extortion scandal that has been exposed in the opposite of progress [LINK HERE] the time has come again to consider the founding of a separate political party.

The apparent fact of the matter is that the scandal fully immerses both parties in both houses of Congress. The prior emphasis of The Tea Party has been to reform the Republican Party. But with the unfolding extortion scandal it appears that The Rot has fully effected the Grumpy Old Party to the core. One component of the scandal has been the illegal payment of family members out of campaign contributions. Even Ron Paul of Texas has transferred money from contributors to his daughters.

The effort to reform the GOP was chosen in part because the historic performance of new parties was dismal. But with the clear signs of The Rot within the GOP it now appears that we may be best off by starting with an effectively clean sheet of paper. The Tea Party will have to become a full service political party.

The path to freedom and the restoration of proper government will be longer and harder but I don't see another choice.
