A Fact

There are more lamp posts in North East Minneapolis than are Scientologists worldwide.

Thought Of The Day

Antisemitism is effectively a canary in the coalmine.

The Fifth District in Minnesota is effectively empty.  Is Ilhan Omar an Enemy of Mankind?

Yes.

Should Ilhan Omar be treated as such?

Yes, in the Nuremberg style, she should be hanged from the neck until dead.

The Good Old Days

95 years ago the people were saner in Minneapolis.

The Minneapolis Park Board had once sponsored a girl's rifle team.  If three teenage girls were seen in public today with their target rifles it would be treated as a major terrorist incident.  And every hoplophobe would come out of the woodwork to denounce the girls and their parents as homicidal criminals.

Contrary to what they claim this is not progress.

Insane Idea

Once upon a time ago when I was active in the Libertarian Party I decided to run for the opposite of progress in the Fifth Congressional district of Minnesota. The district at the time consisted solely of the City of Minneapolis and was locked up by the DFL Party* as a safe seat. Even though I could not turn in enough signatures to get on the ballot I did receive about twenty write in votes in that election.

This morning I thought: Why not try it again?

The current occupant of the seat is DFL member Keith Ellison, an open Muslim who made a show of taking the oath of office on President Jefferson's copy of the Koran. Which is akin to a Neo-Nazi taking the oath on Winston Churchill's copy of Mein Kampf. Furthermore the doctrine of Islam denies the validity of all real laws, including the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

So in moral effect the Fifth District seat is empty.

A run for Congress in a closed district is clearly a quixotic act but with the legitimacy issue who knows what will happen?**

And yes, I will accept the endorsement of the Tea Party.

* Democratic Farmer Labor Party. Yes, it's every bit as bad as it sounds.

** Possibly a Soviet lobotomy after which the Donks will use me as a martyr for gun control. Nothing is too insane for those who value power.

A Reminder

At roughly 1705 CDT my afternoon nap was interrupted by a knock on the door. It was a candidate for mayor from the Democratic Farmer Labor Party. Since this was my first year of living in a high rise apartment building it was a surprise to me. The look on her face when I told her to go to Hell wasn't. She didn't say another word to me.

Even though she has been a fixture of the local corrupt political scene for decades, I won't name her to spare her further well deserved shame.

I did leave a complaint on the property manager's voice mail.

For those not familiar with Minnesota politics the DFL Party was the result of the merger of the usually corrupt Democratic Party with the nearly communist Farmer Labor Party. This was accomplished by Minneapolis mayor Hubert Humphrey, a well known source of hot air who had an inflated stadium named for him.* [LINK HERE] As I've said on a number of occasions the party name is as bad as it sounds. As I write this I wouldn't be surprised if that utterly corrupt bitch does something to inflict a punishment on me. After all, she has the example of The Big Zero to follow.

Remember, only you can prevent political corruption.

*Hubert the Hump is also the sire of a state attorney general who was a black leather trench coat short of being a proper Soviet thug.

Safety Tip Of The Day

There is a mist of Dihydrogen Monoxide in the early morning (pre-sunrise) air here in Minneapolis. Upon touching the ground it freezes into a slippery surface. Because of this I've decided to stay indoors until the air warms up.

Act Of The Day

Dihydrogen Monoxide is falling from the sky in solid form in Minneapolis.

I shall remain indoors today.
