Some Suggestions

The rulers of Russia are trying to bully us out of installing a anti-missile base in Poland.

I have a couple of suggestions for our current administration:

First: The first five Ticonderoga class AEGIS cruisers were decommissioned because they had the earlier twin arm missile launchers instead of the current box-cell launchers. Four of these ships remain (one sunk as a target), lets pull the phased array radars and AEGIS combat systems out of those hulls and emplace them with Standard-3 ABMs in box-cell launchers to give coverage to our major cities.

Second: Let's produce new land based units of the AEGIS system as described above to cover all of our major population centers.

Objections?

They're are already land based versions of Aegis - I know Israel has been using them. Whats going to be the next step is a version using lasers, so it covers a much larger area..
