If the current Mainstream Media were covering the fall of the Berlin Wall today they would be openly denouncing the East Germans who were escaping to freedom in the West.
Ayn Rand once described the mainstream of Progressive thought as a stagnant swamp. I have to disagree, I see it as more of a festering cesspool.

Anniversary
On this day 150 years ago Abraham Lincoln, the President of the United States, gave a two minute speech to commemorate the dedication of the Soldier's Cemetery at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

The current occupant of the office, His Imperial Majesty Barack Obama, has declined to participate in the ceremonies commemorating the anniversary of the address. This is not surprising as it would be clearly hypocritical for an open tyrant to commemorate a battle in defense of the value of Freedom.
