History Lesson

The French as a nation have a long history of insisting on being different and claiming it's a superior practice.  A case in point is that at the beginning of the First World War is that while all other nations had adopted earth toned uniforms for their soldiers the French politicians INSISTED that their soldiers go into combat with the traditional dark blue coats and bright red trousers.  As you can imagine this didn't work out well for the French Army.

Thoughts Of The Day

When I drove a taxi and for pizza delivery I never used GPS.  My political orientation is Minarchist Libertarian.  I was once a member of the Libertarian Party of Minnesota.

Negative actions will have negative consequences.  The negative actions of the Democrats will have the requisite negative consequences.  If we look at the Democratic Party and their relationship to the problems we face at the social or political level one thing becomes very obvious.  They're either the primary cause of the problem, the primary aggravating factor of the problem, or the primary obstacle to a rational solution to a problem.

Humanity isn't merely a physical condition, it's a state of mind.  To be human is to be essentially rational and productive.  The human mentality looks upon the world, the land, the animals and plants, the natural forces, as things to be mastered for the benefit of himself and his posterity.  On the other hand, the predator, or savage mentality doesn't seek to to master the world but to be the master of men.  The savage prefers not to sustain themselves by their own effort but to seize and consume the lives and property of others for material and spiritual sustenance. To the predator, justice consists of getting away with it, those who rightfully resist the predator are to be punished or destroyed.

Without the sword they'll take away your pen.  Without guns they'll take away your butter.  This isn't an either/or choice.  Those who state I don't have a right to speak or publish are mortal enemies.

Antisemitism in politics is the practical equivalent of a dead canary in a coal mine, I can't say this often enough.  Antisemitism is bad enough, but it's also a symptom of a deeper political problem.

I know Charlie doesn't surf, it's the other stuff Charlie does that's annoying.  Horrors (such as wars) happen because of the beliefs of the perpetrators, not their instruments.

Karl Marx didn't invent socialism or atheism.  Atheists must separate themselves from Marxism.

It appears that I'm now being censored on Tony Ortega's blog, The Underground Bunker.

Black tribal collectivists choose to treat chattel slavery as the act of the "White Race" inflicted upon the "Black Race."  Treating this as a blank check to gain plunder and favors at the expense of non-blacks. Ignoring of course the fact that price for the sin of chattel slavery has already been paid, IN BLOOD.

Quotes Of The Day

From today's HBL List:

Actually, I am incapable of error. Wait, that's mistaken.

--Harry Binswanger, PhD

And:

Clausewitz defined war as "an act of violence intended to compel our opponent to fulfill our will"

In demanding absolute submission Mohammed had essentially declared war on Mankind. Therefore those who follow his command to make war on those who properly refuse to submit are in effect enemy combatants and should be identified and dealt with as such. Under the customs of warfare and subsequent legislation assault on a civilian is a serious offense with murder and rape being treated as capital crimes.

Humanity is at war with Islam. Let's treat it as such.

--Some Blogger

And finally:

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

--Karl Marx

Socialism is the doctrine that man has no right to exist for his own sake, that his life and his work do not belong to him, but belong to society, that the only justification of his existence is his service to society, and that society may dispose of him in any way it pleases for the sake of whatever it deems to be its own tribal, collective good.

--Ayn Rand

FURY

I just saw FURY starring Brad Pitt and a M4A3E8 Sherman Tank..

This is a very realistic war film which clearly depicts the horrors of war, particularly against a totalitarian state. And if anything it has reinforced my long standing contempt for peace activists and pacifists in general.

Oh, I wouldn't bring a child or a lady on a date to see it.

A Statement On Foreign Policy

Let me make one point absolutely clear.  Any state or non-state entity that makes war on the United States of America during my term in office will be defeated and will NEVER have the means to make war again.  If that requires the use of NUCLEAR WEAPONS then I will do so.

If I find it necessary the aggressors will be eliminated from existence.  Permanently.

Glenn Beck and David Barton on our first foreign war against a Non-European power.  The War on the Barbary Pirates:

I learned about this war in a used history text that I found being given away by a school library.  This war was not covered in any history course I attended at Edison High School in Minneapolis.

So much for public education.

Seriously, do yourself a service and do a search for the Wars Against the Barbary Pirates.  This is a clear lesson on how to deal with aggressors in general, and Islamic Terrorists in particular.
