The lying of the Mainstream Media is an old problem. Walter Cronkite lied about the outcome of Tet Offensive. Cronkite reported that the Viet Cong won when in fact they lost. A Hard Leftist, especially a formally indoctrinated Hard Leftist, will believe anything except the truth.
