Mikhail Kalashnikov, the creator of the AK-47 assault rifle, has died at the age of 94.
I owned several semiautomatic copies of the rifle including two chambered for the 5.56 x 45 mm NATO intermediate round.
Even though he would have been on the other side of a US-Soviet War I still have to say, Farewell Comrade.
