How many more of these atrocities do we need before we face up to the
fact that an armed citizenry would end such shootings right away?
Imagine that the bar’s owners kept guns behind the bar. Imagine that
one or two people had guns on them. The guy would have been shot dead in
seconds, instead of standing around for how long–over a half an hour–to
continue his killing spree.
I agree with both the preceding posts. It has nothing to do with
American attitudes on homosexuality or anything else. This is what Islam
means. Kill the infidels.
And this is why I could not mourn the death of Cassius Clay (a.k.a.
“Mohammed Ali”). He converted to Islam and popularized it among blacks,
way back when.
Both locally and internationally, the answer to terrorism is
retaliatory force: guns in private hands here and the full power of our
military where this obscene movement breeds.
That is feasible now, in the current climate. Longer term, we need a
philosophic offensive, directed against all the enemies of man.
