What the hell did the meanstream media (yes, that was deliberate) believe that the National Guard, the reserve components and the active forces deployed outside the Indochina Theater of Operations were doing during the Vietnam War? Had they ever heard of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics? The Soviet Army? If they did, were they aware that the Soviets had us grossly outnumbered and outgunned on the ground at a time when we didn't have the significant technological edge that we have today?
Why do they persist in degnigrating the service of veterans, like President Bush, who served outside of Vietnam?
