Yesterday was the anniversary of George Washington's Raid on Trenton, New Jersey. In this operation a brigade sized force, including hoses and cannon, was put across the Delaware River.
The raid should have been seriously contested if not an actual failure. A Loyalist had observed the crossing and went to Trenton to report it. A note was written and given to the commander of the Hessian regiment stationed in the town. Colonel Rall placed the note in his coat pocket and returned to his ongoing card game. When the battle properly began he was one of the Hessian dead.
It really helps when the opponent is being stupid.
If our opposition continues to ignore reality we may a chance of taking back our nation.
