Thought for the Day

I just posted this over at Political Yen/Yang:

I take a Democrat candidate seriously for the same reason that I pay attention to the any individual or group of menacing strangers when I make a pizza delivery in a bad neighborhood. It is the reasonable expectation that they may harm me.

Over the last three decades that I have observed the Democrats I have noticed that not only do they persistently take a wrong position on an issue, they will often do so as a simple mindless negation of the Republican position.

Violent Crime: Don't accept as a fact of reality that it is an act of will on the part of the criminal. Don't apprehend, prosecute, imprison, or where warranted execute the criminal. Instead attack innocent people, disarm them, and leave them helpless in the face of a growing population of violent criminals.

That's just one example. I could go on about insanity of their positions on National Defense, Energy Policy, Taxation, etc. But I really don't have time to do so. (Unlike some folks on the Left I have to go to work.)

The Democrats are not just a party that has to be opposed on individual issues. They are demonstrating that (they) are following a mental methodology that consistently places them in opposition to reality. And reality is real, opposing it will hurt you.

So Anyway

I had a nightmare tonight that I was trapped in a building that was under attack with bombs and guns by muslims.

I'll try to go back to sleep now.

A Comment On Leftist Hypocracy

From a glamdroid watch website:

So I'm supposed to live like a raccoon while this tubby f*ck drives a go-cart from room to room on his fabulous estate. These dirty god-damn hippies all tell me how awful America is and how great everyone else is, and we should all roll around in the mud like these third world nightmares whose number one export is alien like diseases, meanwhile he's flying back and forth to Caligula-like parties in Beverly Hills on his 20 million-dollar Gulfstream jet. I'm supposed to power my shower with a treadmill, but according to this editorial in the USA Today, Gore can't even be bothered to sign up for "earth friendly" power sources like wind energy, even though the utility companies that service his homes (he has three) in Tennessee and Washington DC offer it as an alternative.

They don't care if you suffer while alive or die as long as you submit to their will.

For them power over others is the source of their sustainance. The state of Liberty, where we deal with each other on the basis of consent, is toxic to them.

For them: Power is life. Freedom is death.

Barbarians (paleo or neo) are funny that way.

Thought for the Day

Why do I feel like I'm tied up and gagged in the back seat of a car driven by someone who insists on driving on the wrong side of the road and who responds to the appearance of oncoming traffic by denying that it exists and stomping on the accelerator pedal?

Someone Else's Thought For The Day

I strongly recommend that you read this.

You need to remember this, to the parasite mentality, POWER IS LIFE, LIBERTY IS DEATH.

In the state of Liberty, without power over the productive, the parasite must either learn to be a productive individual (in short, get a job) or it will die.

John Bergstrom Still Doesn't Play Well With Others

Forgot to post this one too.

John Bergstrom Doesn't Play Well With Others

One of these things is not like the other

From the Book of Armaments, Chapter Two, Verses Nine through Twenty-one:

And Saint Attila raised the hand grenade up on high, saying, 'O Lord, bless this Thy hand grenade that, with it, Thou mayest blow Thine enemies to tiny bits in Thy mercy.' And the Lord did grin, and the people did feast upon the lambs and sloths and carp and anchovies and orangutans and breakfast cereals and fruit bats and large chu--...

And the Lord spake, saying, 'First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to three. No more. No less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then, lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.'

Of course one of the problems with the real Christian Holy Bible is that it really doesn't have a Book of Armaments.

Dealing with Islam would be a lot easier if it did.

Somebody Had To Say It

From the Strategy Page:

One look at the quantities involved really answers the question as to whether or not the Algerian build-up is a threat to France. The short answer is that it isn't. The Algerians would be outnumbered, and facing fighters at least as good as their new MiG-29s and Su-30s, if not better in some respects. This is before the French advantages in areas like airborne early-warning aircraft (France uses variations of the E-3 and E-2) and aerial refueling come into play. In short, a modern Franco-Algerian war is one that Algeria would lose in the air, even though they would be fighting the French.

Emphasis mine.

A Bit Of Fun

Coming soon from the BBC, a nature documentary on the new Iraq:

(Narration in italics)

Another intruder in the Iraqui ecosystem is the M1A1 Abrams Main Battle Tank. Here we see an Abrams Tank as it stalks its prey, an Iraqui insurgent.

We see an Abrams Tank hiding behind some tall grass. It then leaps out and chases down the insurgent.

The Abrams Tank uses its superior speed to run down and kill the insurgent.

The Abrams Tank runs over and then goes through the motions of devouring its kill.

The Abrams Tank can comsume up to ten times its body weight in the course of a year.

The Abrams Tank is suddenly surrounded by a half-dozen Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles. The Abrams Tank rotates its turret with the main gun level and honks its horn as a warning.

The infantry carriers will have to wait their turn...

A Question

Why do I have the awlful feeling that J.A. Steel is going to be the Ed Wood of the Twenty-First Century?

Could it be the passion that she brings to her work?

Could it be the sexual identity issues she could have?

Could it be the appearance of ineptitude in her style of directing and editing?

See the trailer for SALVATION.

Thought for the Day

The present-day liberal, as with any other barbarian, does not care about the height of the pile of human skulls as long as he (or in the case of Hillary, she) is firmly seated upon it.

And Hillary is still a Miserable Failure.

Sad News

Actor Ian Richardson dead at 72

Laconic actor Ian Richardson, famed for his role as the arch manipulator in the BBC political drama House of Cards, has died suddenly at the age of 72, his agent said on Friday...

"House of Cards was just so much his own," Diamond said, reflecting on Richardson's role as the epitome of elegant evil in the BBC parliamentary trilogy.

His oleaginous aside as a Machiavellian politician - "You might say that, I couldn't possibly comment" - has entered the language as a perfect catchphrase for devious evasiveness.

I first taped HOUSE OF CARDS off the air when it was broadcast on our local PBS station and then bought the VHS set from the BBC when it became available. There are differences between the PBS and BBC edits of the series.

Link to the ITV story.

Someone on an alternate history site is writing a fanfic about how the character of Francis Urquhart would have handled 9/11 and the events of the real year 2001.

And Then...

Les wakes up, reads Little Green Footballs, notices that Arabs hate Bush, and says:

(Roll 1d6)

1-3. So what else is new?

4-5. Really? Kate Bush can't suck that badly.

6. Something involving an obscure anatomical reference that he cannot repeat in a public forum. (Checks to see that he spelled "public" correctly.)

Les goes back to bed.

Think Of It As Insanity In Action

I found the following story from the Toronto Star on FARK dot com:

There is something endearing about the 65 believers gathered in Canada's capital of capitalism this weekend for a convention on communism.

There are a number of terms I would use for such a gathering, endearing is not one of them.

First off, it takes chutzpah to call 65 people a convention. Then there are the facts: The collapse of the USSR and the Soviet bloc, Fidel Castro's fragile health, and the triumphs of Microsoft and Google and Wal-Mart. Doesn't phase them.

"The first airplanes didn't work, the pilots died, but the principles of the first flying machines were excellent." says delegate Antonio Artuso, 61, by way of explaining communism's failure to thrive in the 20th Century, and his continuing belief that it will one day triumph.

"It takes time for systems to work," he adds.

The science of aviation works because those who practice it actually made the effort to discover and apply the relevant facts of reality to their endeavor. The aviation mishaps that do occur are usually the result of someone not paying attention to the relevant facts.

The theory of Communism was invented by a group of professional parasites in order to give the appearance of modernity and moral legitimacy to the stone-age practice of beating-up and killing productive people and taking their stuff.

Of course that is about the nicest description I could give to it. Normally I think of the practice of Communism as being the behavior of those who chose to act as sub-human predatory animals. And as with any other predatory animal that attacks human beings I believe that they should be hunted down and killed.

Of course Comrade Artuso isn't the only one to not get it. Comrade Figueroa is optimistic about the future of Communism.

Mistakes have been made, he points out.

The first wave of socialism contained "distortions and perversions."

"I continue to be confident that the next wave of socialism will be qualitatively different, qualitatively better, because we've learned a lot of lessons from the past."

Because a 110 million innocent human lives snuffed out in the pursuit of an invalid ideology is just not enough.

Would they stop after killing 200 million or 300 million?

Of course not.

Parasite mentalities as a general rule see themselves as superior beings and other people, the productive population, exist solely as either tools that they can use to pursue their goals or as trash to be disposed of. Killing those who rightfully refuse to be the slaves of the self-appointed superior beings is not an act of murder, in their minds is it simply the disposal of hominid garbage.

I practical terms, a Communist is a mortal enemy of human kind. And killing a Communist can be no more wrongful than putting down a rabid animal or destroying any other active hazard to human life.
_

So What Else Is New?

Once again the assholes on the Left are attempting to rewrite history to suit their own ends.

In this case they are attempting to deny the fact that leftist trash were spitting on uniformed members of the armed forces in the period during and subsequent to the Vietnam War. That and the screaming "babykiller" thing.

One should think that with a minimum estimated bodycount of 110 million persons of all ages and genders by various Marxist regimes that the label of "babykillers" would be more accurately applied to the Left.

We should also remember that the act of spitting on a member of the armed forces is also the repudiation of the idea of the right to Life and Liberty of every citizen and legal resident of the nation that service member has sworn to defend.

When a walking piece of leftist trash spits on a uniformed member of the armed services its message to all citizens and legal residents is simply "die motherf***er."

And as a citizen and former soldier of the United States I would have to interpret that message in a very personal manner.

Quote of the Day

The gates of Auschwitz were not opened with peace talks. Holland was not liberated by peacekeepers and fascism was not defeated with a deft pen.
