Dealing With Wolves

I’ll start with a parable.

A small town was once attacked by a pack of wolves. Some of the inhabitants - - men, women, and children - - were maimed and killed by the wolves.

The men of the town armed themselves and tracked the wolf pack back to its lair and proceeded to kill every member of the pack. And when the guns fell silent the only sound was a wimper emanating from a hollow beneath a tree stump.

In the hollow was a newborn wolf cub. One of the men, a bald fellow who wore glasses and a old black field jacket, shot the wolf cub with his rifle.

Another man asked the bald guy, “it didn’t harm anyone, why did you kill it?”

“It’s a fucking wolf,” the bald guy replied.

A bit over eleven years ago a small community in Texas was attacked by two packs of predatory animals.

The first pack was a federal agency whose functions were in part a deliberate and explicit violation of the charter and supreme law under which the Federal Government was established.

Even under regulations in effect at the time, the BATF could have sent a couple of agents in coats and ties in a plain government issue sedan to the Branch Davidian residence and asked the federally licenced firearms dealer living there to open his place of business and records to examination. Or if they needed to place the leader of the congregation under arrest they could have taken him into custody while he was out on his morning run. Given Mr. Koresh’s past history of cooperation with local law enforcement they could have simply asked him to come down to the local sheriff’s station.

The BATF did none of the above.

Instead the BATF attempted to stage a military-style assault, code-named Operation
Showtime
, in order to impart a positive impression of the agency upon the socialist filth that had just moved into the White House. Never mind all the innocent women and children who could have been maimed or killed during the raid.

After the BATF goons were driven off another pack of predators, the so-called Hostage Rescue Team of the FBI, descended upon the Branch Davidians.

If it had been necessary to take the Branch Davidian residence by force a trainee platoon from the Benning School for Boys could, in accordance to their training, have entered the building and taken down any armed individuals without deliberately harming the non-combatants. Instead, the HRT, the alleged experts in hostage rescue, proceeded to terrorize the people within the residence. And when the Branch Davidians refused to surrender, they were exterminated by the HRT.

The HRT used some armored vehicles to destroy the exits from the building and to allow the ambient wind to blow through the structure while other armored vehicles injected CS gas, known to be inflammable and toxic to children and elderly persons, into the wooden structure.

And then the HRT fired incendiary devices into the building.

While the Branch Davidian residence burned to the ground on live television, HRT gunmen
stationed behind the building out of sight of the TV cameras shot anyone who attempted to escape the fire from the rear of the building.

The Democrat majority in both houses of Congress were not the slightest bit appalled by the atrocity, instead of condemning the president for his actions and initiating the process of impeaching and removing President Clinton, they chose instead to condemn the victims and those who dared to speak up for them.

Given the choice of obeying the supreme law or violating the law, they chose to violate the law.

Given the choice of preserving innocent life or destroying it, they chose to destroy innocent life.

President Clinton and the Democratic Party could have obeyed the Constitution, the Supreme Law to which the President, the Congress, and the Federal Government in general were subject and stopped the terrorization and murder of the Branch Davidians, but instead chose to violate the Supreme Law.

And like a number of illiterate barbarian chieftains before him, President Clinton and his party used the murder of the Branch Davidians to demonstrate to the rest of us what would happen to anyone who refused to submit to their will. Instead of standing up for the rights and lives of Americans they chose instead to terrorize and murder Americans.

Since then the name “democrat” has become in my mind synonymous with the concept
“murderer.” If there is one complaint I have about President Bush it is that he has done nothing to bring the perpetrators of this atrocity to justice.

Nothing. At. All.

A few days ago I published a moral condemnation of someone who chose to stand for election to Congress as a member of that gang of traitors and murderers.

Patty Wetterling is very obviously a socialist, someone who believes in using force against the rational and productive for the benefit of the lazy and stupid, and who is apparently not the slightest bit concerned that she has joined a gang that in one hour incinerated more children than she could have physically carried to term in a lifetime.

How could I have not morally condemned her?

Remember the wolf cub? That little animal is genetically wired to be a predator.

Patty Wetterling had a choice, she chose to join and attempt to re-empower a pack of predators and to become a mortal hazard to me, my family, and my nation. And we have no choice but to identify and deal with her as such.

And after I publically identified the bitch in question as an enemy of the Republic and of Mankind in General, someone or something, obviously a active adherent of the Party of Death, wandered in to the website, pointed the index finger of it’s blood drenched hand at me and screamed:

This whole post is tongue in cheek, right? This must be some kind of sad parody of conservative trolls. Can you seriously be calling for the murder ("shot in the back of the head Soviet style") of Patty Wetterling for the heinous crime of running for public office as a democrat?

If this post is for real then you are among the most sick, depraved creature God has put on this earth. You embody all of the evil in the world wrapped into one person. You are why we have to lock our doors at night. Look in the mirror. You are why we look at strangers with suspicion. Patti Wetterling has encountered someone like you before, it was the vermin who abducted and presumably murdered her son. You need professional help now so that you don't hurt anyone. I pray that you get it soon.

What is it like to not have a human soul?

What is like to be told that there is an evil that is orders of magnitude greater than the kidnaping and murder of one child, an evil that cannot be stopped by a locked door, an evil that can only be stopped by the exercise of deadly force against its perpetrators, and to declare that those who would act to defend themselves, their own families, and their own nation against such an evil are nothing more than vermin?

What is it like to declare that those who oppose the greater evil must be kidnaped and have their souls destroyed and every shred of conscience ripped away with drugs and electric torture?

What is it like to just be another fucking predatory animal?

That guy talks far, far, too much and apperently does not see what the point of the wolf story was. Namely, a predator is a predator and you can't change the nature of anything.

I'm one of those gun-stockpiling Survivalists with a fallout shelter in the basement, but i do kinda try to soft-pedal most Waco criticism.
Humans are fallible, and humans who are simultaneously afraid and pumped up on adrenaline sometimes make some incredibly stupid choices.

That having been said, almost anyone, from anywhere, could have made much better initial engagement plans. They could have started by talking to Koresh about exactly what he planned and whether he would permit investigation of the various sensational charges against him. It might still have happened- stranger things have- but at least motivations would have been reasonably clear.
I'm not sure where Patty Wetterling comes into this, but i am quite certain that Janet Reno and any number of her subordinates need to answer tough questions about the whole mess, and that it would be much better had they been asked immediately.

..of course, if seven soldiers are accused of humiliating Iraqis, that's a good excuse for hauling the SecDef and the POTUS up on trial..just more surreal logic from the Left.

If the Left really does want justice, i'm fine with that. Too often, however, they spell it 'just-us'.
