Support gun control: attend marksmanship training.
They are going through one of the irregularly scheduled "gun control" threads over in the political section with the usual suspects quoting the usual HCI talking points. One of them actually said" Saying "the Liberals" want no guns in the hands of citizens is as patently ridiculous as "The Conservatives" passing out flyers in the south saying how the Liberals want to ban The Bible (even though that actually happened).
Silence on this after a small sample of the anti-civil rights gun grabbers saying that complete gun bans would be just fine with them.
He followed up with this bit of ignorant bile:
I am NOT opposed to gun Ownership, but I AM opposed to nuts/endtimers/psychotic losers/emotional cripples having access to Grenade Launchers and Automatic Weapons. There is no reason for it besides whatever delusional fantasies these freaks can concoct.
I pointed out that "Grenade Launchers and Automatic Weapons" have been under strict federal licensing control since 1934.
Then there are the ones trying to hold on to the myth that only the National Guard counts as the militia mentioned in the 2nd Amendment.
I'm amazed by people who go to great lenghts to limit the right of the people defined in the 2nd, but have no problem with nude dancing being considered political speech and thus protected by the first.
I left out in the last post that the attempt to educate the anti-civil rights gun grabbers is going on over at the travellerrpg.com Citizens of the Imperium forum.
