Changes

As I write this it is eleven degrees below zero outside of my apartment building on the Fahrenheit scale.  It's not quite the old eastern Front level of cold but it's still dangerous.  The Army Reserve unit I initially joined in 1982 was equipped and was training to be sent to Alaska in the event of an open war with the Soviet Union.

I had a lot to look forward to back then.

Now that the Soviet Union has departed from the scene our nation is facing a new hazard.  This is an ideological menace from from within our own educational establishment.

The ideology of Environmentalism.

One aspect of this problem is the theory of Anthropogenic Global Warming.  It is here that the actions of Mankind are deemed to be the cause of planetary heating.  A catastrophe that could only be stopped by a radical change in social behavior which in turn must be enforced with absolute compliance by a totally empowered state.

This notion is complete nonsense. 

As I write this a Russian icebreaker has just been freed from a pack of sea ice that according to Global Warming Theory should not have been present.  The expedition that chartered the ship were believers in the theory of Anthropogenic Global Warming who were seeking evidence to support their beliefs.

What they received was the opposite.  They recieved the truth. 

What appears to be an inherent part of Climate Change Theory is the notion that the planetary climate does not change without a human factor present.  That the natural climate is a static state.

But in reality there is hard physical evidence of radical climate change on the planetary scale.  Of rain forests running from pole to pole.  And of ice covering the entire planet.

The fact is that the Earth is a changing environment within an ever changing universe.  And all of this change is completely natural.

In light of this we must see that government policies, especially those reaching a totalitarian level of control are fundamentally oppressive and unnecessary.  Those laws and policies must be repealed.

And it's also time for the people in the Environmentalist Movement to grow up and get a life.

On The Impeachment Of Barack Obama

As I wrote yesterday there is no question that Barack Obama is unfit to hold any elected office.  And certainly not the office of President of the United States.  [LINK HERE]  Simply on the basis of his beliefs it is clear that he must be removed from office.  Furthermore he has clearly demonstrated in action his absolute contempt for the lives and other rights of Americans.  Given that the fundamental task of the President is the uphold and defend the lives and rights of each person and The People as a whole this is absolutely wrong.

Barack Obama must be removed from the office of President of the United States.

To avoid an armed overthrow of the federal government the authors of our Constitution created the process of impeachment.  Within living memory this procedure was attempted during the terms of William Clinton.  But instead of indicting and trying him for a serious offense, such as the Waco Massacre, he was instead prosecuted for an act of purgery when testifying of an adultery literally committed in the Oval Office.

The indictment and subsequent trial of William Clinton was a virtual joke.

As with Clinton there are clear grounds to believe that Barack Obama has committed multiple impeachable offenses.  Blogger Doriangrey1 has created the list of Obama's violations of violations of The Constitution alone that qualify as grounds for impeachment. [LINK HERE]

So what is the hold up?

One problem, which clearly appeared during the Impeachment of William Clinton, was the solidarity of the Democratic Party.  The DP delegation in the Senate voted on a straight party line.  In my opinion the absurdity of the indictment was a clear factor in allowing the DP to vote as it did.

In the hope of heading off a lawful removal of Barack Obama the Democratic National Committee has sent out an e-mail explicitly promising that the party will be be in lock step support of their leader. [LINK HERE]  Furthermore, the caucus of the GOP in the House appears to be more concerned with cooperating with the DP in order to bring home the Pork to their constituents than with doing their clearly defined duties with respect to the Constitution.  The absolute first priority is to remove Barack Obama from the office to which he is now disqualified.

There is simply no excuse for not doing so.

I will now state it in all capital letters in a bold typeface in a blockquote:

THE FIRST AND ONLY MISSION OF THE CONGRESS AT THIS TIME IS THE LAWFUL REMOVAL OF BARACK OBAMA FROM THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.

 For the Congress at this time there is no other duty and no other morally valid option.  The refusal to carry out this Constitutionally mandated procedure will clearly result in the Congress being identified as willing accessories to the clearly criminal acts of Barack Obama.  As a result WE THE PEOPLE will identify as treat the Congress as a fundamental part of the problem and will include them in the solution.

That is my statement on the subject for today.

(Some reader may have already noticed  that I refused to address Barack Obama by the title of his office.  That is because he was never fit to hold the office.)

Who Is The Enemy?

On Sunday, Nov 27, 1994, I found the following item on the talk.politics.guns newsgroup:

"Parameters", the journal of the Army War College, has published an article by a Maj. Ralph Peters which identifies the next "enemy" of the "Politicized" Bill/Hillary Clinton military as U.S. Patriots, defined as the "Warrior Class". Patriots are described as "Erratic Primitives of Shifting Allegiances, Habitated to Violence with no stake in Civil Order".

And I posted the following response:

Civil Order as understood by adherents of the Platonic/Hegelian/Marxist/Nazi collectivist ("progressive," "caring," etc.) philosophical tradition is a social state in which we, the hominid livestock, live as directed by our self appointed masters.

The bipedal cattle who do not obey are visited by the "Guardians"/SS/ATF or other such creatures.

Civil Order in the real world as described by Aristotle and Ayn Rand is the societal condition in which we, the humans, are free to live by our own judgement of the facts of reality for our own purposes, without being put upon by thugs and tyrants.

The enemies of true civil order will always try as Orwell warned us, "...to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable," as had happened at Waco. When we accept the definitions given by our enemies, we lose. For the Clintons and their collaborators to call us "Erratic Primitives," is nothing less than a Nazi style smear.

In the real world we must define or be defined.

The Clintons and the other self styled "progressives" have tried, through their so called "health reform" and other such actions, to force us into a state of dependency and servitude. To turn the United States of America, the greatest nation on this planet into a vast slave labor camp. These are not the actions of the defenders of "civil order." These are attacks on civilization and Mankind as such.

We must see reality for what it is, things for what they are, and people for who they are. We, the defenders of American Civilization, must show our families, friends, and neighbors that we are who we are, and that our enemies are what they are.

Socialism is slavery and socialists are slavers. And as far as I am concerned, all slavers, regardless of what auditory garbage they put forth as an excuse, are enemies of Mankind fit only for extermination.

My Cup Of Tea

With the extortion scandal that has been exposed in the opposite of progress [LINK HERE] the time has come again to consider the founding of a separate political party.

The apparent fact of the matter is that the scandal fully immerses both parties in both houses of Congress. The prior emphasis of The Tea Party has been to reform the Republican Party. But with the unfolding extortion scandal it appears that The Rot has fully effected the Grumpy Old Party to the core. One component of the scandal has been the illegal payment of family members out of campaign contributions. Even Ron Paul of Texas has transferred money from contributors to his daughters.

The effort to reform the GOP was chosen in part because the historic performance of new parties was dismal. But with the clear signs of The Rot within the GOP it now appears that we may be best off by starting with an effectively clean sheet of paper. The Tea Party will have to become a full service political party.

The path to freedom and the restoration of proper government will be longer and harder but I don't see another choice.

Apart from a brief flirtation with the Libertarians I have always voted straight Republican. Even when Steve Barry of the Special Forces Underground endorsed Al Gore for the purpose of provoking the Second American Revolution, I refrained from doing so.

The Republican Caucus in the House of Representatives have the opportunity to bring down the rotten structure of the current overgrown monster in Washington. Instead the dishonorable Mr. Boehner decided to felliate the God-King's boner.

So what do we as citizens do now?

Something I noticed while reading comments on conservative sites this morning. The term Vichy Republican, as both singular and plural, has come into use.

This is clearly a sign of anger.

Back in December after the Sandy Hook Massacre I was involved in a discussion on firearms ownership on an Objectivist Mailing list.

One list member, who I will not identify to save him from further embarrassment, wrote:

Again drawing from fiction, in The Weapon Shops of Isher and its sequel The Weapon Makers the author A.E. Van Vogt uses the phrase: “The right to buy weapons is the right to be free,” which I think most astute. In this classic science fiction story the Weapon Shop weapons are only capable of being used in self defense.

The list owner correctly declared that this was metaphysically impossible.

Let’s examine the premise.

Consciousness Is Identification.

Consciousness is the process of seeing things as they actually are.

In order for an artifact, such as a firearm, to be able to identify the difference between a valid target it must be a conscious being. In practical effect the weapon is a person. As a piece of property this person is a slave.

Furthermore, if the weapon owner, or the operator it is issued to, cannot identify the difference between a valid target –- statists and criminals -- and innocent persons, then the owner or operator in this respect is unconscious. To require that the attribute of consciousness be constructed into a weapon demonstrates that the potential owner or operator is not fit to hold it.

As Consciousness Is Identification, what can we say about those in government who cannot or willfully refuse to identify the difference between citizens and criminals? Or unable to simply identify any fact of reality at all?

We would have to identify them as being unconscious.
