In 1977 at Camp Scott in Oklahoma three girls were murdered by Gene Hart. Gene Hart was eventually arrested and prosecuted. Gene Hart was acquitted. Cherokee medicine men intervened on behalf of Gene Hart. Carthaginians placed their children into sacrificial fires. Carthaginians relied on divine intervention. Carthaginians lost the Punic Wars. It was the thought that counted.
