Just Remembering

I once had to close a checking account at TCF Bank. The person I was talking to was making excuses for not complying with my request. It was only when I told them that I would call the MN Attorney General’s office did they comply.

I suppose it did help that the sitting Attorney General was the DFL goon Skip Humphrey, who had a reputation of being one trench coat short of being a proper Soviet thug.

Quotes Of The Day

But I'm not a Marxist.

-- Karl Marx

No comrade. You created it. You own it. All of it.

If you agree with some tenets of Objectivism, but disagree with others, do not call yourself an Objectivist; give proper authorship credit for the parts that you agree with -- and then indulge in any flights of fancy you wish, on your own.

-- Ayn Rand

I will have to admit to also being influenced by Robert Heinlein.

Brownshirts In Action

From Andrew Breitbart's Big Government site:

The Racine, Wisconsin Tea Party held a get-out-the-vote rally Saturday to energize conservatives for the final stretch of the upcoming election. Organizers for the rally arrived at the event venue to find hundreds of roofing nails spread across the parking lot where attendees were to park their cars.

It remains a mystery who left the nails in the parking lot, but it is just one more assault in a chain of attacks, likely incited by the left against Wisconsin conservatives who are openly expressing their views and gathering exercise their right to speak and assemble freely.

Such actions may be a surprise to certain members of the Church of Obamatology but they should not be a surprise to anyone who has read The Ominous Parallels by Leonard Peikoff.

We must remember that the goal of Obamatology is to clear the planet of the effects of Capitalism. That is the behavior of decent and rational persons. In other words, civilization.

Think of it as Marxism as usual.

Islam And Altruism In Action

Real men do not commit the act of rape.

Unfortunately, this has become a significant problem with Muslim taxi drivers in the United Kingdom.

This is inexcusable. Completely inexcusable. I used to drive a taxi in Minneapolis and as far as I knew this behavior was unknown. Even with Muslim drivers

I did eject a woman from my cab once. She was being excessively rude. I brought her back to the bar where I made the pick up.

As the story points out most of the offenders have received less than a decade in prison sentences for their crimes. This is also inexcusable.

To commit the act of rape is to behave as a predatory animal. Those who choose to act as predatory animals should be identified and treated as such. The penalty for forcible and statutory rape should be nothing less than death.

But then, unlike some whim worshipping trash I used to know, I actually value life in the real world.

Thought For The Day

The Allied Powers once hanged defendants at Nuremberg for doing what the Mainstream Media routinely does in The United States today.

The problem with hanging the lot of deliberate falsifiers today is that a power granted today is a power that will be abused tomorrow.

Bit of a pickle, isn't it?

What are your questions on this block of instruction?

Message to Mister Trump

The Big Zero is not going to any release evidence that he is not a proper American Citizen and therefore is not eligible for the office that he presently occupies.

And the members of The Church Of Obamatology will not care any more that their messiah is not a proper citizen of this republic any more than the members of the NSDAP* were ever concerned that their leader was a subject of the Austrian Empire.

There will be no impact on the election. Why bother?

Answer

How does one argue with a raving lunatic who grabs the slightest excuse to deny your right to live.

One does not.

Atlas Shrugged Part Two

My lack of God, what a mess.

The trailer was better then the film as a whole.

Where shall I begin?

Starting with the air chase and then flashing back to the beginning was clearly a mistake. The thing is I used the same start for a screenplay that I was working on. Darn.

Taking some liberties is a necessity on an adaptation to film. Having Jeff Allen already working for the railroad worked. The following changes would have also worked:

Thompson as President of the United States. Granted, like the current occupant of the office, he doesn't deserve the title. But using the proper title would have added an element of realism.

The Winston Tunnel Accident clearly needed changes. The last steam locomotive was taken out of commercial service in 1957. A switch failure was shown as a factor in the accident. This would have been a sufficient cause for the disaster.

CGI effects are now the current standard. But the quality of such effects should be higher than those used in video games.

I saw the first showing on Sunday morning at the Mall Of America theatre. There were only two other persons viewing it.

Thought Of The Day

While I normally avoid poetry as rule*, I will publish a poem on this site today.

This is a poem about Ho Chi Mihn by Nguyen Chi Thien, who spent nearly three decades imprisoned in Communist ruled Vietnam for having a mind:

Today May 19th

Today the 19th of May
In bed
I was about to write a poem to cuss Him out
The poetry started to smell like him
When I stopped.
For I thought
A shitty politician like him
Does not deserve
My sweating
To write poetry about
Even though it may be to cuss Him.
Even Marx
His fucking ancestor
Never did get a few lines from me!
So why bother?
Let the hacks with their prostituted pens
Comb his beard, pat his head, caress his arse!
So I went on to other business
The hell with Him!

Oh, and read this.

Thought For The Day

Adult Muslims are not fit to act as parents.

For their own safety and their ultimate rationality the children of Muslims should be taken away and raised by rational adults in foster homes.

The sooner this is done the better for all of the littlest victims of Islam.

Pamela Geller explains why.

Alternate Universes

Got it from here.

UPDATE 2300 HRS CDT:

A bunch of bozoids are promising to leave the nation if The Big Zero loses the election.

Please, do so.

I finished chapter eleven.

Passed the 20,000 word point.

Link Of The Day

There is a story going around that The Big Zero is a closet homosexual.

So What?

This wouldn't be a big deal if there weren't some murders to prevent the disclosure of this.

Reality cannot be concealed. Those who try should just give up.

Now.

Thought For The Day

I've been reading a lot of post debate commentary on a number of right wing blogs. One subject that dominates the commentary is the question of what drugs The Big Zero is using.

And before this I thought The Zero was high on ideology.
