It has long been said that power corrupts - I disagree: it is the lust for power which corrupts. A good and honorable man in a position of power will remain a good and honorable man...but a person who's whole being is consumed with a desire for power will stop at nothing to gain power - and such people are invariably dishonest, cowardly and cruel...in short, such people are John Kerry, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi.
