Because each of us perceives reality as individuals it is necessary for us to freely communicate in order to obtain a full and clear perspective of it. Freedom of speech is a moral necessity. Censorship, either official or unofficial as attempted by the Jihadists reduces humans to the effective level of animals and thus should be treated as not less than a capital crime.
In short the Jihadists were asking for it.

Well Gay Pride is now part of American Civilization so the Mainstream Media would have to take the side of the Jihadist Murderers.
