Have you ever noticed that individualists and collectivists have very different reactions, upon encountering an idiot?
An individualist may think about how best to enlighten the idiot, so that he no longer persists in his idiocy. Meanwhile, another individualist may think about how best to minimize the effects of idiocy, both in specific examples and in general, on that individualist's life. Other individualists' reactions will vary, depending on the nature of the idiot and/or the idiocy in question.
Collectivists try to figure out how best to enfeeble the idiot further, so that they can make use of his idiocy.
