Thought for the Day
If President Bush had said this:
The Leftist intellectual collective would attack him for treating them like a bunch of morons and talking down to them.
But then as far as I can tell the Left are collectively a bunch of morons.
_
Part of the reason why there is not this instant democracy in Iraq is because people are still recovering from Saddam Hussein's brutal rule. I thought an interesting comment was made when somebody said to me, I heard somebody say, where's the alternative moral authority? Well, the alternative moral authority is dead, because Saddam Hussein killed all the the alternative moral authorities.

Quote of the Day
Some people shouldn't be "airing ideas." They should be swinging in the air from gallows. Ahmadinejad is one of those people.

Morons of the Day
The Minnesota Department of Health sent me a large card to remind me to get a mammogram.
Funny, I always mark my gender as "M" whenever I fill out an official form.

Morons of the Day
Part of the reason why there is not this instant democracy in Iraq is because people are still recovering from Saddam Hussein's brutal rule. I thought an interesting comment was made when somebody said to me, I heard somebody say, where's Mandela? Well, Mandela is dead, because Saddam Hussein killed all the Mandelas. He was a brutal tyrant that divided people up and split families, and people are recovering from this. So there's a psychological recovery that is taking place. And it's hard work for them. And I understand it's hard work for them. Having said that, I'm not going the give them a pass when it comes to the central government's reconciliation efforts.
-- President George W. Bush
I'm not referring to the President, of course.
Apparently a bunch of Lefties have taken a fragment of a sentence ("Mandela is dead") and used it as an excuse to posture and pretend that they are the mentally superior beings.
President Bush used the name Mandela as a mental label for those persons who function as an alternative figure of moral or political authority. Of course totalitarians, Saddam Hussein, Stalin, Mao, Hitler, et al., cannot tolerate the existence of alternative authority figures and thus will always order the murder of such persons.
(And I don't have to mention all the times some Leftist had openly called for the killing of one or more people on the Right.)
The President exhibited cleverness in using Mandela's name as a metaphor for alternative authority figures. This is an unforgivable sin against the self proclaimed mentally superior beings on the Left.
These Lefties proceeded to mentally edit reality in order to posture and strut about as mentally superior beings. But in reality all they've done is to again demonstrate that they are still a bunch of fucking morons.
Oh, here's another example.

"Progressive" is newspeak for someone who believes in the paleolithic ideal of beating up and killing people and taking their stuff.

Morons of the Day
Apparently someone has declared today to be "The International Day of Peace."
Apparently they haven't noticed that the path to peace for a free nation invariably goes over the dead bodies of would be conquerors and their pet quislings.
Oh... I forgot... they are the pet quislings!
May I suggest a Death to Traitors Day?

Blast From The Past
This was originally posted on a site that no longer exists except in the Internet Archive:
Daily Affirmations for your Inner Pirate
Once you've gotten in touch with your inner pirate, the job is not over. Remember to consult the Affirmations for your Inner Pirate:
Stuart Smalley's Daily Affirmations for the Inner Pirate
Monday:
"I'm going to rape and pillage today just for the heck of it because, gosh darn it, I deserve to have a good time."
Tuesday:
"I am not a fraud, a thief yes, but not a fraud."
Wednesday:
"I deserve all the loot and booty I can carry without feeling ashamed or being grandiose."
Thursday:
"I will express my feelings today. I will not hide them behind my eyepatch. My eyepatch is not a mask for my feelings, but rather a small swatch of leather that covers a hideous scar."
Friday:
"When I overtake that merchants vessel, I will not be playing those parent tapes in my head: "You wield a cutlass like a girl" . . . "Why can't you be more like Blackbeard's son?" . . . "Philosophy? What kind of major is that? It's useless!"
Saturday:
"Just because I indulge in wine and wenches does not mean I'm an alcoholic sex-addict like my father."
Sunday:
"If I must violently put down a mutiny today, it is not because I am a bad person or that I am not worthy of love; it is because my crew are a bunch of yellow-bellied, lily-livered sons-of-whores--and I am mean enough, ruthless enough, and dog gone it, people fear me."

News from Washington:
In Donkspeak this would be called an increase.
_
The federal deficit is running sharply lower than last year even though spending in August set an all-time high, the government reported Thursday.
The Treasury Department said that the deficit through the first 11 months of this budget year totaled $274.4 billion, down 9.8 percent from the same period a year ago.

Just A Reminder
Here's a thousand words on the subject:
And here's another thousand words on the subject:
There are those who believe that the twin towers of the World Trade Center were not brought down by the depraved actions of the followers of a false prophet of a recycled false god.
On a certain level this should not be a surprise to us.
I think some folks feel a need to feel superior to us mere mortals, but since they are not the creative or productive kind of person they must then resort to inventing a fantasy in the place of the commonly perceived reality.
And because we mere mortals reject the fantasies of the self-appointed superior beings they must in turn reject the society of consent and attempt to create a regime of coercion with themselves in charge, and to pursue destruction in the place of real positive achievement. But to accept reality as being real would not allow these people to pretend that they are some manner of superior person.
Especially when they are doing something that is totally depraved. Therefore they need to denigrate their victims, those persons, groups, or nations who are actually rational and good.
Thus in their irrational hatred of civilization and their irrational hatred of President Bush they have denied the fact that the terrorist acts of September 11, 2001 were committed by the adherents of a fundamentally evil death cult and have instead put forth the utterly bogus claim that the Bush Administration had performed the deed.
But war is not peace, freedom is not slavery, ignorance is not strength, consensual sex is not rape, and the "Truthers" -- as they call themselves -- will believe anything but truth.
The unavoidable fact of reality is that the self-styled "Truther" is not a morally or intellectually superior being, he or she is a willing accomplice to the murder of nearly three-thousand human beings.
They have chosen to become part of the problem of terrorism. To be an active hazard to human life. Or in an ancient tongue: hostis humani generis, an enemy of mankind in general.
They are now willing servants of the Enemies of Mankind, and like those they serve should also be dealt with as wolves are.

Osama Bin Laden, if that's who he really is, has once again called on us to submit to the depraved whims of a pedohile rapist, robber, and mass murderer. (a.k.a. the Big Mo'.)

A Blast From The Past
With Hillary's conduit to Chicom money making the news again I decided to repost this little rant:

Meanwhile...Across The Ocean
In the land of the Rising Sun:
Imagine for a moment that Hillary Rodham Clinton, someone who could be reasonably expected to be Beijing's bitch, were elected in 2008.
Would it be safe to assume that any democratic nation on the Pacific Rim would remain safe under a nuclear umbrella controlled by an American President whose party is known to have taken money from the masters of Communist China?
No. Of course not.
If Hillary, or any other Donk, wins the White House in 2008 we can be certain that there will very shortly be new members of the Nuclear Club.
Say hello to a nuclear armed Japan.
Say hello to a nuclear armed South Korea.
Say hello to a nuclear armed Taiwan.
Say hello to a nuclear armed Australia.
Who knows, perhaps the folks governing New Zealand may even pull their collective heads out of their collective asses on matters of national defense.
And all this will happen because all of these nations will have no other choice.
Any American citizen who is truly concerned about the proliferation of nuclear weapons can only follow one logical course of action. Vote Republican in 2008.
(Unless McCain gets the nomination. Who really knows what he will do?)
We now return you to your regularly scheduled reality.

In the land of the Rising Sun:
TOKYO - Japan has the technological know-how to produce a nuclear weapon but has no immediate plans to do so, the foreign minister said Thursday, several weeks after communist North Korea carried out a nuclear test.
Foreign Minister Taro Aso, who has called for discussion of Japan's non-nuclear policy, also asserted that the pacifist constitution does not forbid possession of the bomb

Yoko Ono Joke of the Day
Today on Lifestyles of the Nomenklatura Rich and Famous:
What would John say?
(Hat Tip to Ed Driscoll)
_
YOKO ONO will never use an environmentally friendly car - because they are not as comfortable as her Bentley. The wife of late Beatle John Lennon has snubbed the Hybrid car - which is popular with Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz and Leonardo Di Caprio for its low pollution levels - in favour of travelling in luxury. She says, "Can someone make Hybrid cars as comfortable as a Bentley, please?"
What would John say?
