Howard Dean (I almost typed "Dead") Declares That Iraqui Standard Of Living Has Declined

"You can say that it's great that Saddam is gone and I'm sure that a lot of Iraqis feel it is great that Saddam is gone," said the former Vermont governor, an unflinching critic of the war against Iraq. "But a lot of them gave their lives. And their living standard is a whole lot worse now than it was before."

Wow! I didn't know that tyranny and terror were an inherent part of a high standard of living.

Only a bunch of despot-huggers would believe that the common people are better off living in fear of being fed feet-first into a plastic shredder and having their daughters and wives raped by the son of the dictator. The leaders of the Democratic Party (or more accurately, the Despotic Party) whine about how conservatives lack compassion but are invariably unconcerned about the victims of Socialist despots like Saddam, Stalin, Mao, Fidel, Pol Pot, and the North Korean father-son team the Kims.

Our present struggle is called The War on Terror. But terrorism is means to an end, the end being despotism, the state of unrestrained dictatorship. If we are truly serious about bringing an end to terrorism we must ultimately treat dictators, those who seek dictatorial power, and their present supporters like the self-styled Democratic Party as nothing less than Enemies of Mankind. Vermin who have no place in Human society.
